We needed to do the complete electrical to our newly built house. We checked out a few guys and then we found Alkon Electric. They fully impressed us from the first moment we met them. Alex and Dimitri were true professionals! They took the time to explain to us about what needs to be done, how it will be done, how long it will take and how much it will cost. my fuse box kept tripping and blowing fuses. Fast response to my call. did some testing on the fuse box and provided different possible problems and options. informed of costs. was very professional and polite.

Alex and Dimitri are fantastic! We had a mysterious issue with out potlights in the basement - they came out and figured out what the problem was, and installed replacement lights same day. I called Alkon Electric looking for emergency work on a sign that had been installed for a week and, still no power. They came out that day and looked and what was supposed to be an easy job, however in fact it was a lot more complicated and involved. The final work after all was said and done was done efficiently and professionally, and they even came back the next day to do a second part of the job even though they had a full schedule. We bought a condo that had some renovations done prior. We needed a pro to repair an outlet, make sure everything is safe and do some diagnostics to determine if we could install a new over the range microwave. To have my lines protected for a downspout replacement, originally called them to tighten a loose line running from my house to my detached garage in the backyard but thanks to Alex and Dimitri, I ended up saving money as they recommended that I just disconnect the line and then reconnect when the downspout job was finished. They were able to disconnect the same day with no issues and came back the few weeks later when I called to schedule for reconnection.

The scope of my home renovation project included a full gutting to the brick of the entire upper level of my bungalow. Included in this job was the renewal of the majority of my homes electrical infrastructure. I received quotes from 3 electricians and chose Alkon Electric after a discussion with my general contractor who, upon meeting Alex and Dimitri during the estimate phase, was left with a very positive impression.
The positive impressions continued until the job was completed. At the outset, Alkon provided me a very comprehensive quote and proposal at a fair and competitive price. What set Alkon apart was their willingness to dedicate their resources to getting the job done quickly with utmost care which was not something the other bidders had cared to offer.
Throughout the job, Alkon demonstrated a “customer-first” work ethic. We hired Alkon to replace several halogen pot lights that were no longer working (overheating). Alex and Dimitri arrived on time and replaced 10 lights with new LED lights. The work was done quickly and matched the quote provided. We were renovating our basement, I heard about Alkon electric from our friend Chris, he was very pleased with them, so we called them up to come and give us an estimate they told us they would come the next day at 11:00 am.
