My brother and sister in law gifted us a mini photo session (after their own great experience) and we loved it! We were a few minutes late but Clyde settled all of us right away and he had amazing energy and was great with the kids (and the dog)! He had good suggestions for how to stand and pose in order to make the photos look great! In a few shots my sweater was a bit wrinkly (because the kids had just given me a hug) and also some you could see a bulge in my back pocket (my phone lol, I was hoping it wouldn’t be visible, instead of putting it in the front of course), so while it would have been amazing if we caught that at the time, for the short time that we had, I can’t really expect Clyde to notice every last detail like that. Jeannie was very accommodating with time changes and requests. E.g., there were some important shots we remembered taking but they didn't end up in the final edit, so we asked for them and she added them in for us right away. Fast, friendly communication. It was my first time ever going to a professional photographer, and I didn’t know what to expect. I’m not photogenic AT ALL so I was really nervous that my grad photos would turn out weird but Clyde made everything sooo fun! ! He was so personable right from the beginning, there wasn’t even an opportunity for things to get awkward. Above and Beyond is not just the name of this group, they really go above and beyond based on my personal experience. My wife and I required their services for our pre-wedding pictorials and wedding day photography and videography. we take family photos every year. this was our first year with above and beyond productions and everything from the booking to the delivery of photos was amazing! ! Jeannie answered my million annoying questions promptly. on the day, Clyde arrived early and it was raining a bit so he called me to wait the rain out and start when it calmed down (which it did.) he was so patient with my 2 sons and was personable. he made my husband feel less awkward being infront of the camera and not feel rushed like most photographers. Jeannie was extremely helpful with the booking and helped me find a day and location that worked well for us. She replied really fast and contacted me when they had new dates available. Everything was so smooth from the time of booking to the delivery of edited images. communication-wise, Jeannie was very responsive and provides all the information you need before the session. Clyde was the one who took our photos and he was very professional and friendly. He wAs also very punctual and efficient, considering we only had 20 mins, he made sure to maximize the time by having a plan of where and how to take the photos. He’s open to suggestions and makes sure you are comfortable with your angles. It wasn’t also that easy with a toddler who’s not in the best of her moods, but he managed it really well. Edited photos were sent to us days ahead of what they told us and the pics were superb!! We highly recommend their team and for this price and service, they are hard to beat.
