Mikylla was absolutely wonderful to work with, and took wonderful care of our two cats for an entire week while we were away. We hadn’t ever had a professional come to care for them, but being new to the area we needed to have someone come during a recent trip. We are so glad that we found A Place for Paws and Mikylla - from our initial consult and booking, we felt very comfortable with her. She was great with our cats, going above and beyond to meet their needs and ensure all was well in our home. She kindly sent us photos and videos of our cats, as well as detailed updates each day. Mikylla has been walking my 8 month old golden retriever puppy Lucy for 6 months Lucy loves her. She goes daily to my house plays feeds walks trains and as well as loves Lucy like her own. She has helped with medication and healing process after Lucy was spayed and it has been a very difficult recovery Mikylla looked after Lucy Easter weekend on short notice after my plans for her to stay with friends fell through. Mikylla keeps me informed of her visits with Lucy through notes lots of pictures and maps of their routes. She has been available at short notice she has offered to take Lucy to vet if needed she took Lucy to have a play date with another golden retriever puppy for exercise and socializing. Not only does Mikylla have Lucy’s best interests at heart but also mine, she brings in packages that have been delivered, helped with salting the driveway, cleaning up Lucy after walks to keep house clean. I would highly recommend Mikylla for anyone interested in having a human friend for their pet who will look after and love your pet like it was hers. Was a great experience. First time having my dog overnight with anyone other than family. He was treated just like a member of the family. Mikylla made sure all his needs were met and more. Had lots of pictures sent over the three days to make me feel relaxed. He was happy to see me but I could tell that he had found some new friends. Would highly recommend her business and would encourage everyone with dog walking or pet sitting needs to contact her. More...
