What do you love most about your job?
I love every aspect of my job. I have been working in addictions for over 13 years and have been coaching in fitness, health and nutrition on the side for over 17 years. I have a very dynamic past that has led me to where I am today. I had an addiction at a younger age that I struggled with until I joined the military at the age of 21. Upon finishing my contract with the military, I had once again acquired an addiction that I proceeded to overcome. While achieving my sobriety I decided to go to college and get a diploma in Addiction Fundamentals and started working in the field. 13 years later I'm now an addiction/mental health worker at a withdrawal management. I continue to use health and fitness as well as positive habits as a driving force in maintaining my sobriety along with many other tools. I love the people I work with, the sense of fulfillment, the rapport building and so much more. I will never leave this field of work.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own business to be able to reach out a helping hand to anyone who may want it. I have a journey I travelled to reach the level of success where I am today, and my story and experience may be able to help others. This field is a passion of mine and not just a job. If I can help make even a small difference in someone's life, it's a sense of accomplishment for me.
Why should our clients choose you?
I think with my dynamic past clients tend to get a lot out of my education and experience and enjoy working with me. I have been an addiction counsellor in a correctional facility, a harm reduction worker in a respite, a mental health worker in group homes as well as shelters, a mental health outreach worker, a crisis intervention worker and much more. Coinciding with that employment history I have two diplomas - one in addiction fundamentals and the other is a drug and alcohol addiction treatment specialist diploma.
Along with this employment and education experience I have lived experience as well and have trialed and errored many forms of treatment. I have been able to figure out what has worked with me and maybe some of what I've learnt along the way would be able to help you as well. The wisdom I acquired from the lived experience translates well with other people who may be struggling in the same fashion I was.
So, as a client you may want to choose myself because I come from all facets in the field and have gone from the brink of homelessness as an addict to where I am today, and I would love to share my journey with you and work alongside you in working to be a better you.

I can definitely provide services remotely. Whether it be skype, zoom, text, phone or video call I don't mind helping in whatever manor works best for you.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have switched a lot of my work to working online. With today's modern technology it makes it quite easy to keep clients safe from COVID by doing everything online.
