Sarah is a lifesaver! I've gone to multiple trainers to train our 11 month dog to listen and follow basic commands but nothing has stuck, until Sarah came. The best thing is she is willing to come to our house and train him in his comfort zone which is something I've wanted all along. Since meeting her, our dog has gotten better at walks and even goes on runs with me. He doesn't try to go after other dogs or birds as he used to which honestly saves a lot of arm strength for me. If you are looking for a great positive reinforcement trainer, Sarah at 66 Canine Coaching is fantastic. When other trainers insisted on a prong collar for my 85lb intact chocolate lab goofball. Sarah taught us how to communicate with him in a way that gave him confidence and we saw great results in no time at all. . Her sessions are a fun for both my dog and I. Not intimidating at all. What do I recommend? Have Sarah coach both you and your fur baby. After a disastrous session with a well known dog training company, Sarah saved the day. One on one coaching for both, myself and our 7 month old, 100 pound, Alaskan Malamute couldn’t have gone better. He’s a puppy in a full grown body and was taught how to walk nicely, without pulling, I was shown how to keep his attention on me and not on those other dogs he would have loved to have run over and play with. Due to covid I made the mistake of putting off getting a trainer to help me with my pup. Angus (10 month/80lb GR) & I found Sarah in January. Wow Wow Wow! In the beginning Angus would jump up on people, had no focus, pulled on the leash to the point I could not walk him & would tune me right out & I could not control him. Sarah has not only been patient with both of us, but she has taught me how to work with him. We have had such a great experience that we have decided to continue our training with her. I now have an all together different pup & with on going work I look forward to learning along with Angus & building our relationship. We highly recommend Sarah. Sarah is a bundle of energy, yet when she is around a dog, she brings a sense of calm to our walks. She immediately recognized how different my dog walked with me compared to her walk alone with her. We worked on how I can bring calmness to me and pup before heading out on our walk! My dog loved her! Sarah is gentle and loving and my dog was happy and listening to her. We walked with my kids and learned what to look for in our dogs signs of anxiety as other dogs were approaching. My 10year old now loves walking her and feels confident that she will not pull the leash when other dogs are approaching. Thank you so much, Sarah!
