What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is seeing the transformation that quality painting can bring to a home. There’s something incredibly satisfying about taking a space and turning it into something beautiful, clean, and welcoming. I also enjoy the variety — every project is different, and I get to combine my skills in problem-solving, attention to detail, and creativity.
Beyond the work itself, I love connecting with clients and building trust through professionalism and clear communication. Coming from a background in sports, bartending, and engineering, I appreciate the teamwork, discipline, and people skills that each project demands. At the end of the day, it’s rewarding to know that my work makes a real difference in someone’s home and experience.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my own painting business because I’ve always been motivated by independence, hard work, and the satisfaction of building something from the ground up. Painting gives me the perfect balance between craftsmanship and customer service — I enjoy transforming homes and seeing the difference quality work makes for clients.
My background as a semi-professional rugby player, competitive oarsman, cocktail bartender, and electrical engineering student has shaped the way I approach business. Sports taught me discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Bartending gave me strong communication skills and the ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Engineering challenges me to think critically, solve problems, and pay close attention to detail. Together, these experiences prepared me to lead a team, manage projects, and build lasting relationships with clients.
