What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is the intellectual challenge of solving complex business problems through a systematic and strategic approach. I thrive on dissecting a challenge, understanding its root causes, and developing a tailored software solution that addresses the specific needs of the client.
But even more rewarding than the problem-solving itself is seeing the tangible impact of my work. Witnessing a business experience a significant increase in productivity and efficiency, which ultimately translates into increased profitability, is incredibly fulfilling. Knowing that I played a role in that positive transformation and contributed to their success is what truly drives me.
What inspired you to start your own business?
What inspired me to start my own business was a combination of factors, but it stemmed primarily from my experience navigating the Canadian job market after arriving in 2015. I quickly encountered a frustrating Catch-22: I was repeatedly told I lacked "Canadian experience", yet I was also frequently deemed "overqualified" for the entry positions I applied for. This left me in a difficult position, feeling like my skills and experience were undervalued and that I wasn't being given a fair opportunity.
Rather than letting these rejections define my path, they ignited a fire in me. I realized that if I wasn't going to be given the chance to contribute in the traditional employment model, I would create my own opportunity. That frustration, coupled with a deep desire to use my skills to make a real impact, became the driving force behind my decision to launch my own business. I saw it as a way to not only prove my capabilities but also to build something meaningful from the ground up.
