Where do I begin! Being a member of Thrive has been one of my best decisions. I walked in to Thrive Fit one fall morning, hesitant, looking for information. I received a pamphlet in the mail with a $97 offer for 1 month of training & I decided to check it out. Initially, I was apprehensive because of the small space & it was semi-private environment. After talking to Brian (the owner) & him asking what my fitness goals were, I figured I would give it a try. I felt he & I really hit it off & I really enjoyed working out at Thrive. The trainers took things slowly for the first 3 sessions just to get me acclimatized. Then based on my progression we upped things a bit without going overboard. Love this place! Everyone really knows their stuff. Getting a great workout. I'm in my 50s and I really needed to start paying attention to my health. The workouts do the trick for me. I figure if I'm going to really exercise, then (for me) I don't want to negate the benefits by stuffing myself with junk foods. (I still enjoy all the foods, but in moderation)I'm 6'4" and was tipping the scales around 260 at the beginning of summmer. Now, I'm in the 240's and the needle is still heading south. If you are looking for a place that will motivate, encourage, support and most importantly, provide a custom training experience just for you, then Thrive Fit is a perfect solution. The trainers are experts in their field and used a training methodology that built me up from the ground again. My back pain is almost completely gone and I can play with my kids without being worried about hurting my back again.
