In the lead-up to some brutally hot days in Wpg, I called Super Value Home Services (SVHS) and expected a long & uncomfortable waiting period before my air conditioner was fixed. The gentleman who assisted with the service call was proficient & knowledgeable. He had a service call set up for that week (my choice to wait 3 days) and was able to trouble-shoot some unique circumstances. I was initially skeptical that a company that does so much could do it well. However, in every single instance that I've used them, Super Value has proven to be absolutely fantastic. I don’t know why this company has been relentless in their advertising this past month. Smells like a scam. I did however use their services once 5 years ago, almost 6 now when I was pregnant, and the owner was amazing! He came out on his own, did a thorough job, gave us a small discount as it was my birthday that day. My carpets had never looked so good, and he was gentle with our belongings. I’ve always received their email promotions, once every 3-4 months, with new prices and whatever “back to school” or “spring cleaning” sale they have going on, it usually has the guy on the poster. But at the beginning of this month I received an email about a “cleaning quote” I had never requested. The responses to that email became frequent and aggressive, and the grammar and english sentence structure became worse with every email. Then the calls started. They said they’d put me on their do not call list, but the calls still came in so I had to call my service provider to put a block on their calls. I asked to speak to the kind man who I understand was the owner, because I really appreciated his genuineness and maybe he wasn’t aware that the call centre he contracted out were harnessing his customers. Lori is very good at her job, whether she herself is a scammer, or she is aware of the scam, her script is flawless and she’s fantastic at dancing around a conversation with deescalation phrases, and techniques that will get your information out of you. She kept offering all sorts of things; quality assurance, customer complaints team, but never what I had requested, which was to stop being contacted. I will not be using their services again, sadly despite the amazing service I had received 5 years ago. Idk why they left me alone for so many years and all of a sudden this month decided to harass me, but again something just smells like a scam. I used this company one time 5 years ago, it does not warrant relentless and repetitive calling, especially after I've already asked not to be contacted by phone. The canned response of "oh, ask us and you'll be on our do not contact list for 3 years as per the guideline" is not good enough. No contact is no contact! Learn customer service, and unlearn my information. Save yourself from showing up on their radar, and do not use this company. Here at Super Value, we are experts in Duct Cleaning and taking care of your entire duct system. We have won awards for our duct cleaning. We use controlled extraction to make sure we do the best job possible of getting the dirt out of your duct system, and not just into some hidden nook and cranny.
Cleaning Method
We use a powerful air compressor, whipper lines, skipper balls, and an industrial vacuum to remove dirt, debris, and anything else we can get out of your main ducts. This leaves you with a clean, healthy duct system. The whipper lines begin by hitting the inside of your duct system, dislodging the dirt and debris from the main ducts, while being flexible and able to work without ripping apart, and breaking cables in your duct system. Immediately after, our Technicians will send the Skipper Balls through the system, which pull dirt and debris back towards our vacuum. This allows us to remove as much of the dirt and debris as possible, instead of pushing it into a corner.
Our Technicians seal every vent in your home during the cleaning process to ensure that there is no blow back into your home. In addition to sealing them, our Technicians vacuum out and sanitize each vent individually to make sure your home smells clean and fresh.
Carpet Cleaning
We choose to use the steam cleaning or water extraction method to when cleaning carpets. Accordingly, it is the number one recommended cleaning method by most carpet manufacturers.
Our technicians will move and replace most furniture. All furniture will be placed back in its original location with protective tabs placed under all of the legs. Our Technicians also pre-spray the carpets with a spot removal product and an enzyme pre-treatment, free of charge.
Carpets can be walked on immediately following the cleaning, but we do recommend wearing clean rubber-soled shoes or sandals until the carpet is completely dry. Drying time can vary depending on many things such as the thickness or grade of carpet and the humidity of the room. The average carpet will usually dry in 6 to 24 hours. A way to decrease the drying time would be by increasing airflow such as having fans on, windows opened or a dehumidifier. However, it is important to not turn up the heat too high in winter as this will add to the humidity in homes, and can actually add time to the drying of your carpets.
