How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Most importantly is to contact your City to find out what type of permits are required in your area are required to build out the garage. It is always best to prepare a professional architectural plan to present to the city for a proper evaluation of the project. Gather as much information by contacting us directly at any time if you are ready to proceed with this project.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
In a Garage Conversion, you will need to complete a few tasks ahead of initiation of the project:
1. Have an official architectural plan available or speak to us [The Contractor]
2. Once the City approved the conversion, find out if you can place a Demolition Bin on the property; this also requires a permit.
3. Once all of that is "approved" contact RenoMtlExperts to go through the project details.
4. Once the details are established, allow 24-48 hours for a proper Estimate.
5. Once the Estimate is approved, RenoMtlExperts will provide a Work Schedule and List of Materials which is usually paid upon request.
6. Once materials are on site and the work commences, the Project Manager will give up-to-date regular daily progress.
7. Payments are usually detailed and expected throughout the project to completion.
