Raeden truly is such a special place. My mom and I have been personal training together with Phil twice a week, for over 9 months now, and we both could not be more thrilled with how we have progressed. Neither of us have ever been consistent about moving our bodies and we both have very different training needs (she has mobility and arthritis issues). Because of Phil, Kris, and all the other wonderful people at Raeden, we actually look forward to going to the gym for the first time ever and have been able to make so many improvements, both physically and mentally. I originally signed up for their promo of three classes for $15. A great deal but mostly, I was instantly hooked after completing my first class. You can tell the owners and coaches really care about your experience! I always receive a warm welcome from everyone as soon as I walk through the door and they make an effort to remember everyone's name. The space is very clean and there is a great variety in equipment! Every class I've attended so far has been slightly different, keeping me on my toes! It was just like yesterday when I heard about raeden fitness after attending a fun filled community fitness day, which was followed by a trial pass at their dedicated gym. Like the greater majority of gym enthusiasts I walked into a room full of barbells, weights, squat racks, etc., instantly confused, intimidated and thinking of my next excuse to go back to comfort of home yoga mat. To my surprise, I was welcomed in a room full of the most inviting fitness fanatics and to date essentially my fitness family. Also remembering meeting coach Phil equipped with weekly jammed packed class plans + demos, regular check-ins to make sure I stayed motivated, and most importantly that I show up to the gym. I didn't even know how to use a squat rack in my prime days let alone being able to lift a 45lb barbell, but today I am ecstatic to report (with recorded app proof) I hit a PR at 135 lbs.Fast forward a year with raeden, the gym expanded its head quarters and the notable coach Alastair onboarded. In the last few months, I had the pleasure of training with Alastair one on one as a PT coach. On top of his wealth of strength knowledge, his special power is his ability to motivate you on the gym floor and mind set to achieve any of your strength goal.
