Quick Pro Reno

My father-in-law recently had a new bathroom installed in the basement of his house by Bruno at Quick Pro Reno. He asked if i could provide a review of the work, so I will do my best to provide an accurate overview and the pros and cons as I see them.

First and foremost, five stars.
Bruno and my father-in-law worked on a floorplan design, transforming an unused closet and surrounding area in the laundry room into a well-laid out bathroom. The final work is surprisingly spacious, very bright and has a minimalist elegance. A sliding glass door shower with a sink/vanity and toilet, tiled walls and floor, it is a very nice washroom.

The pros: both my wife and my father-in-law said that Bruno was very easy to talk to and very professional when designing the layout. He was very attentive to the work his crew provided and if he spotted anything that he was unhappy with, he made sure that his crew corrected it. His price appears to be fairly standard (my father-in-law had several quotes from different companies). The quality of the glass door, tiles, vanity etc seem decent. There is a ceiling air vent that draws from the washroom and exits into the laundry room. Bruno had his drywallers come back after the job was over to resand and remud some walls that he was unsatisfied with, thereby cleaning up the final finish.

The cons: not much negative to say. The estimated deadline date got pushed back, which was inconvenient for our move-in date, but these things happen on jobsites.
Something that Quick Pro could definitely improve on: the clean up work after the job was done.
There was a thick layer of drywall dust on every single surface, in the furniture, clothes etc, over the entire basement. I would either tell your customers to prepare for the work by taping plastic wrap to all the walls and covering all furniture etc, or have your crew do it.
The other thing is the amount of splattered plaster in the laundry room. We have been chipping hardened chunks of plaster off the washing machine, the folding table, in the laundry sink, walls etc. Again, taping up a tarp beforehand would save this headache afterwards.

Ultimately though, it seems like good work and looks great. I would recommend Quick Pro Reno. More...

Bruno from Quick Pro Reno was absolutely amazing to deal with, his work is exceptional right down to the fine details
He installed our porcelain tile 24x24 in our entrance , hallway , powder room and kitchen
I would highly recommend Bruno to all our friends and family

They did the job so well I hired them again for a bigger job… two full kitchens and another bathroom

We got cheated by this contractor whome we hired for bathroom renovation from Bark site.
His name is Bruno Leggieri. Of “Quick Pro Reno” this contractor never delivered what was according to his estimate, for example cost of tiles which we bought and he never installed the shower sliding door which was part of his estimate, also he charged us double the money his plumbers charged for plumbing work.
Overall we lost more than $2000 and this contractor doesn't want to talk and still claims that we owe him money and that is a total lie as we only owed him $200 at the end but when we tried to explain that infact he owes us money of the incomplete job, he doesn’t want to discuss and walked away from the job.
Never again we will hire any contractor from Bark website. More...

It’s unfortunate that there is always a bad apple from the bunch. He always kept money from our agreement and insisted in paying cash. Finally he kept the balance of the money owing to me. Bark is lucky that he does not call for more trades for him to cheat money from.
