What do you love most about your job?
Human Resources has been an interesting and rewarding career choice over the past 20+ years. As an HR Consultant as well as a small business entrepreneur, I have enjoyed building relationships and partnering with organizations to help them grow and develop their strategic HR practices in order to improve productivity, engagement and retention. In particular, I enjoy working with small and mid-sized businesses who otherwise would not have the opportunity to hire a seasoned HR professional, and to provide them with adaptable HR solutions to help them reach and/or exceed their business objectives.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit, however starting my own business was a frightening decision! I am conservative by nature and enjoyed the consistency of having a regular salaried position (and pay cheque every two weeks). However, ten years ago I decided it was the right time to chase after my dreams! All these years later, I am so glad I did and so proud of Peak Performance HR. It has been an incredible journey and I am so amazed at what my team has accomplished. We are an award winning HR consulting firm and have partnered with over 200 clients across the GTA as well as abroad to provide exceptional HR outsourced services and expertise.

Our services can be offered remotely and/or onsite, depending on the clients' requirements. For onsite visits, we will certainly adhere to all Covid-19 safety protocols, including wearing masks and any other recommended PPE, sanitizing and maintaining appropriate social distancing.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have been responsible for developing Covid-19 safety plans and related policies for our clients, and we will always be respectful and adhere to all Covid-19 protocols.
