I wasn't going to leave a bad review, but I just saw the response asking me to.I went with a friend of mine to a consultation (she was the client). Odette Rwigamba was hours late, and they did not come to inform us at any point even though we were 3 steps away in the tiny office. After long wait and probing the receptionist we were told that she hadn't yet left her house and then later that it's because she was stuck in traffic. Conflicting information... I felt bad for the receptionist having to make up lies.If you cannot be on time for a 10am appointment and are hours late, at least inform your clients who won't take time off from work.We left without being seen... Odette was my lawyer when I was going through my divorce 2 years ago. I had gone through two different lawyers before I had gone to Odette. The first meeting with her was a real eye opener for me as I found a caring professional that had my best interest. There was a time when a big issue had came into my divorce and I was very devastated. I sent her an email about the issue after her offices hours and received an email from her at 11 pm assuring me that the problem would be dealt with. She had a court case the following day and had another lawyer look into my issue and was in contact with me throughout the day until Odette had returned back from her court case. Very negative experience. We sought real estate services from this lawyer, and she:- re-scheduled our appointment multiple times; - was roughly 40 mins late for it anyways;- ‎has an assistant who missed multiple phone calls and did not return emails on several occasions;- had to constantly be chased around for a simple follow-up that dragged on for weeks and was ultimately not resolved before we chose to look for another lawyer;- left us a bill that was heftier than we expected. I received more information on how best to handle my case in one hour consultation that I had with Ms. Rwigamba than any other lawyer I had met prior to meeting her. She gave me concise but detailed suggestions that allowed me to settle my case with great results, and I cannot thank her more. She was approachable and patient with me, and she treated all my questions seriously and allowed me to explore reasonable options and referred me to other services in the community as I was not able to afford to have her firm work for me on my case.
