Nourishing Gourmet was the caterer for our Bridge Lake wedding. Overall, our experience was good! The food was great and our order included some extra items that saved us on rental costs. The only thing that impacted our experience was the communication leading up to the event. After booking, we usually had to follow-up on unanswered messages or repeat details that had already been shared. Not the end of the world as everything worked out in the end, and we recognize they are very busy, but I personally would have appreciated more attention to detail and care for our big day. We has our wedding last weekend. We chose Nourishing Gourmet to be our Caterer about 1.5 years ago when we started planning our wedding. They have been great to work with the whole way through! On the day of our wedding they arrived promptly and had us ready to eat even slightly before the planned time. We were in a venue with no water or electricity and they had no issue getting our meal prepared. The two gentlemen who were serving us were efficient and friendly. I wanted to let you know that your food was a hit! Students & staff loved the flavors and variety of the one-of-a-kind delicious sandwiches, wraps and baguettes you catered to our Principal's List lunch! Thank you for your generous donation of the pasta salad, which rounded the meal out and made sure everyone was full. We were all wow-ed with the quality and presentation with generous garnishes of olives, pickles, herbs and flowers. The students felt honored and special to have such good and lovingly prepared food for them. We had Nourishing Gourmet cater our staff Christmas party and right from the first call I had a great feeling about them. Sameena was very professional, and helpful . She really took the time to answer my questions and helped me to make some decisions. She made me feel like I was in good hands and I think that’s harder to find nowadays than ever before. We had Sameena and her team cater our wedding. From the first initial meeting to the last dish served everything about dealing with Nourishing Gourmet was top shelf. Sameena helps create the experience you are trying to put across to your guests. We wanted something different for our wedding meal so we went with a pig roast . Sameena’s preparation and pig roaster were phenomenal. All the guests were blown away by the taste of the meat and the “crackling” was the best I ever tasted. Many guest said the same. The entire meal was memorable and done to perfection. As someone who as been in the food industry for over 20 years five stars doesn’t give this team there due. What a great food experience from the service, to the process, and of course the food. Use this company if you are looking to create an experience for your guests or clients. We had the honour of having Sameena and her team cater our wedding this past weekend. As someone who has worked in the industry for over 20 years let me tell you our guests , myself and my bride were completely blown away. The attention to detail and the level of food was top shelf , filled with flavour and freshness. She was completely accommodating to all our requests.
