First of all, I’m not someone who typically leaves bad reviews, but this situation is exceptional. Mike arrived about 40 minutes late for our appointment. The first thing I requested was for him to bring an extra person to help, as I have an injury. However, he showed up alone and asked for my visitor parking. I explained that we don’t have visitor parking, so they decided one person would stay in the car while the other worked, and if needed, the helper would be called.

He began working and claimed it was an easy job for him, mentioning he had already installed over 500 TVs. However, if someone has done that many installations, you’d expect them to come prepared. I had to provide him with a small ladder to reach the wall, and he didn’t even know the model of the TV he was supposed to install. He didn’t like the bracket that came with the TV, which was a special one designed for the LG Gallery Series (a 5-year-old model in a constantly updating industry).

He began the installation but kept trying to justify why he couldn’t center the TV on the fireplace. Imagine paying for a professional service and not even getting half of the expected result. As a customer, I began explaining exactly what I needed and asked if he could do it, to which he assured me he could. But honestly, he made a mess. He tried to secure the bracket with only two screws—by the way, screws that were larger than the ones required.

I ended up having a discussion with him because I wasn’t satisfied with the job. I asked him to stop and told him that I would cover the cost of the trip and gas, but I asked him to leave because I wasn’t happy with the way he was doing the job or treating me as a customer. It was terrible.

He refused any payment and left, leaving a disaster on my wall and the bracket. I’m sorry to say this, but he’s probably a professional in electricity, but not in TV installation. Don’t take the risk with him for this kind of job—total waste of time.”
