I was in need of a move out clean for my apartment last minute and they were able to get someone to come the next day which was a relief as I had called around to other companies and prices were too high or were not able to fit me in on time. On top of that she did an absolutely amazing job and went above and beyond what I excepted. I will be recommending this cleaning service to anyone who asks as I was so impressed with the value of what I got for what I paid and how responsive they were, I will most definitely be hiring them again in the future. Only reason I am not doing a one star is because they were able to do same day cleaning which is unheard of at the moment. Very similar to the other bad review that I read on here. The cleaner came shortly after we agreed upon later in the day. When she arrived I greeted her, offered her some water and showed her what I had wanted done. I asked for a deep clean, they specified within 4-6 hours it would take. That's totally fine, however long it takes to get the service. She ended up staying 6.5 hours at $42.50/hour + GST - this is pretty much what he said on the phone. However the cleaning professional missed, the dining table, every window/blind, all corners of bedrooms with trim, above any windowsill, windowsills, coffee table, towel cupboard by the bathroom, the entire side room where the coat racks are (literally didn't even vacuum or go near it), behind the stove/fridge and whole areas of the living room weren't even vacuumed. She did a great job in the bathroom and in the kitchen, what she did decide to clean properly looked good. I phoned the fellow who booked the service, he instantly got defensive and wouldn't accept the fact the cleaner did a quick and careless job. He claims that 'there wasn't enough time's to do it all etc. If that's the case then why wouldn't you at least communicate to her that dining tables, living spaces (especially the living room) need to be cleaned. If I had known the cleaner couldn't speak English I wouldn't have shown her around letting her what I need to be done. I went around and showed the blinds, the windowsills, the side cupboards, the entrance way, the kitchen table and living room. If I can't communicate with your employees how on earth do you expect me to be satisfied? I have to take pictures of my place so it can be listed, I had to call friends to clean it with me the day after because so much wasn't finished or was ignored. Upon looking at further reviews it looks like you run a decent business with favourable things to say. Why did you go about being so aggressive towards me and then ignoring me? It's been three days without a response, I'm a customer not some person who is trying to gouge a business. Feel free to look at my reviews, I don't give out one stars like it's nothing. Straight off I need to give Maxi Maid a star for being available in a pinch. I called them at 10:00 and they were able to have to cleaners at my place by 13:00 and that's hard enough to find. Clearly their management is working.Their cleaners are not.Presumably, because it was short notice, the A, B, and C teams were all occupied and I got the bottom of their rosters barrel. The quality of the work was high, 5/5, the room they completed was immaculate. The time it took to complete the work was absolutely unreal. The room had been cleaned fewer than 24 hours prior and was in pretty good shape. It took two Maxi Maid cleaners, billed at $40/hour, almost two full hours to take a one bedroom apartment from "pretty good" to "immaculate" and it's hard to believe. It's not a huge apartment and my staff cleaner can have it cleaned well in about 75 minutes, and at two hours she could've had the room immaculate as well. To add insult to injury they left five minutes early on a three hour service. If you're going to charge $80/hour for two people at least stay for the entire billed duration.The sum of it is that the quality of work is high and Maxi Maid seems willing to help in a pinch, but for overmarket rates their cleaners are breathtakingly slow, quite possibly the slowest cleaners I've ever work with.Edit - I appreciate the thoughtful response from the owner and am revising my review to 3/5 as it further demonstrates managerial competence. At the end of the day, though, his cleaners took nearly four man hours to do one and a quarter man hours of work. They are, truly, remarkably slow. More...

When we took possession, the home had not been cleaned well with dust balls rolling around, finger prints all over the stainless fridge and dusty surfaces.
