How long have you been interested in magic?
Since I was 13 years old! I won't tell you how old I am now!
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
It depends on what kind of show you are looking for! I have different shows for different events. I perform at trade shows, retirement homes, fairs and exhibitions etc;
However, my main speciality is combining palmistry and strolling magic at weddings and corporate events. I walk around performing strolling magic for the guests and while doing so tell each group that I will be reading palms later in a quiet corner and then I find a line up appears out of nowhere as palm reading is VERY popular!
What do you love most about your job?
The joy and laughter from the audience. If they are happy it makes me happy!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been doing this so long that I can't remember! I think it was probably that I saw a famous magician on British television named David Nixon and decided that was what I wanted to do.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because I have decades of experience and have won the Golden Buzzer on Canada's Got Talent! . In addition to this I have written several books on magic. And very, very few magicians have experience at palm readings! The combined talents work very well together.

Sadly no. I was born in the year of the dinosaur and don't understand that stuff! In any event even if I did understand it I don't think online shows are in the same class as seeing a live performer. Mind you, having said this someone recently put a video of me on TikTok and it got 25 MILLION views so someone must like it!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Because of the pandemic situation I have avoided doing any shows during the last two years (hence my lack of reviews). However, now that things are beginning to open up again I have started to perform once more. I have been fully vaccinated (two doses and a booster shot) and will be performing in a face shield until mask mandates are lifted and I deem it safe to operate without.
Magic/Palm Reading
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mark Lewis and I specialise in entertaining at corporate and other events. I recently received the Golden Buzzer on Canada's Got Talent.
However, in addition to being a magician I am also a palmist of many years experience.
When I entertain at events I utilise both talents and this is a typical procedure. First I do walk around close up magic to small groups for perhaps an hour or so. When doing this I take the opportunity to tell the people that later I will be in a quiet location where there will be a table and chair where they can sit down and have their palms read. This usually creates great interest and when I eventually start the readings a line up usually appears out of nowhere! The readings usually last around 5-7 minutes long and these sessions are usually the hit of the evening. Generally speaking I am reading for about two hours plus of course the walk around magic for an hour. Of course this is just one scenario and can be adjusted according to your requirements. I generally charge around $950 for the evening if the event is in the Toronto area.
