Maria`s Team Cleaning Company

This is the second time I have come across a company where I have said to myself, oh, they don't need a review because their work will speak for itself, so think of this as a PSA. And, you're most welcome.

When my regular cleaners were not available, I was worried about finding a good replacement. I found Nick and Maria Cleaning Team here on Bark via a Google search. After checking out several other service providers, I kept coming back to this page for some reason. I thought that if they were as half as good as my regular cleaners, it would be enough.

Needless to say after they delivered an award-winning performance at my home, I felt like they outranked not just their competition but even my regular cleaners who themselves are no joke.

From my interaction with this company, I got the sense that they are not just cleaners, but that this is a company that is very intentional about the quality of service they provide and also about the brand they are building.

There were certain things they did during my interaction with them -- the level of communication, the clarity regarding the details of the job, what to expect, payment arrangements, arrival times, parking queries for the cleaners and so on were just some of the things that made them seem very professional. It was just a painless, hassle-free experience, especially when you are moving.

All I can say is that when the team arrived, all of my concerns vanished. I just knew they were going to deliver and don't ask me how. I actually was not surprised about the quality of the work, I just was surprised about the extent of the work. I left them to run some errands and I came back to a sparkling apartment. As the young folks say, 'They understood the assignment and they did not come to play.'

I was blown away by several things, but it was those baseboards that first jumped out at me. If I didn't know better, I would have thought that my husband had painted the baseboards.

Then it was everything else. The first place I ran to check was the stove. And if you are a person that likes to clean, you know that that drawer at the bottom of the stove is the litmus test. When I tell you they did not miss that drawer. I opened it with such confidence and was not let down.

I was afraid to ask them to move the fridge and clean as well, thinking it would be too much, but when I got back, every inch of that fridge including the floor below the fridge was as brand new.

They cleaned every inch of that apartment -- ceiling fans/lights, the bathroom fan, the drawers and cabinets. Another thing I checked for was that kitchen cabinet that had splatter on it that we were afraid to clean, least we strip the paint. When I got back, the grime was gone and the paint was still in tact. This one really touched me, lol.

However, of all the things I was impressed by, I think the best one was when I went to open the sliding door. The groove of that door looked like it had been power washed. Same with the windows. I was not prepared.

In other words, we are now talking beyond 'above and beyond.' I can safely and confidently say that I would have easily paid them 3 times what they asked. So whatever little tip I gave was more so as a gesture, lol.

Superb work! I almost forgot to say that it was our intention to leave the apartment completely free to make it easier for the team. When I got back, all of my stuff was packed over neatly on one side and the whole floor scrubbed clean. My other cleaners used to do it to, but because this was a new team, I wasn't sure how they would deliver.

I think they have delivered even better than my previous team [if that is even possible]. It is the difference between an A and an A+. Nick and Maria's Cleaning Team is A+. More...
