TL/DR: HORRIBLE! Marcus Top GTA Landscaping caused $7000 worth of property damage. They aren’t honest or skilled contractors, and you’re better off finding someone else or doing the job yourself.

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. Unfortunately, Bark’s platform made the mistake of only allowing 1 star. They also made the mistake of platforming Marcus Top GTA Landscaping.

Marcus Top GTA Landscaping caused $7000 worth of damage to my home, alongside causing both mental, financial and emotional distress.

Their list of failures and acts of deceit include, but are not limited to, the following: refusing to sign a contract despite my insistence, refusing to follow proper safety measures (e.g. painting the stairs with paint instead of wood stain), refusing to acknowledge environmental concerns and conditions that would worsen the quality of the job (e.g. pouring in concrete while it’s raining), repeatedly inserting broken natural stone despite my refusal (I had to remove multiple broken stones from being inserted, and when I wasn’t looking, they would place them again), non-stop harassment for more than 80% of the money despite not having completed 50% of the job, lack of punctuality (e.g. they wouldn’t show up some days, or they’d arrive hours later than promised), and they did not complete the job since they lied about their skill level. The list goes on…

The work they did do was careless and filled with multiple accounts of malpractice that endangered myself and my family. They don’t know what they’re doing, and they don’t care about the job they’re doing. Simply put, they’re not honest men. How can you trust someone that deceives about their skill level, and then blames you for it?

They took advantage of me. They’ll take advantage of their next customer. I don’t gain anything, and they’ve already made me lose thousands of dollars that they won’t compensate. I had to contact an actual professional to remedy the situation, and like I said, it’s costing upwards $7000. I can only hope that my experience prevents someone from being exploited and taken advantage of, like I was.

Do yourself a favour: find someone else. Since Marcus Top GTA Landscaping sucks the life, and money, out of you until there’s nothing left. PLEASE don’t make the same mistake I did. Anyone is better than Alvin and Alando, even yourself. More...

We had this company take down and remove our wood fence,then replace it. They showed up ready and willing,did a great job ,left no mess . Pleasant fellows
