When I spoke with Renee about possibly responsibly rehoming our young dog, she berated and belittled me. I wasn't looking to drop off Millie at the dog shelter; I thought, with her connections, Renee would be able to help us find an exceptional home. I sent her a message saying we wouldn't be back to the classes for which we had prepaid and I would like our $1,365 returned. She could have fixed the situation with an apology, but instead she ignored me for 3 weeks, then had someone on "her team" send me a message with trite responses to my concerns and a note that they would not pay me back. Who runs a business where they ignore unhappy customers? Who calls herself Canada's Canine Educator when she runs a one-trainer operation from her garage? She's a good trainer, I'm sure, but if you run into a problem, you might see another side to her. More...

You reached out during a difficult situation, and my goal was to support both you and your dog in a way that prioritized her well-being. When rehoming was discussed, I offered to personally take your dog at no cost to ensure she would be safe, supported, and placed responsibly. That offer was made from a place of care. I understand your concerns regarding communication. During that time, I was carefully reviewing your situation and how best to proceed. As outlined in our initial evaluation, prepaid programs are non-refundable once training has begun; however, your concerns were acknowledged and responded to by my team. I truly wish the experience had felt more supportive for you. I remain committed to professionalism, clear communication, and doing what is best for the dogs entrusted to my care. What do you love most about your job?
Being a teacher. It’s a true honour for me to bridge clear communication and help people grow the ultimate relationship with their best friend.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My dog. I rescued him when he was 12 weeks and he presented me with a gift I didn’t even know I had. Understanding dogs is something that came naturally to me. I discovered very quickly that I was going to dedicate my life to work with dogs and everything took off from there. My dog and I built everything from the ground up. Almost 6 years of working with my dog as my partner, we’ve had the honour to help thousands.. My dog is my best friend first, my K9 partner second and the best right hand I could ever wish for.
Why should our clients choose you?
I’m not your typical cookie cutter trainer. I’m a canine educator, a teacher and a mentor. My approach to canine training is a balanced one. and the education I provide my clients is specific to help them acheive their individual goals.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
The majority of my work is done outdoors. We were very careful and respectful with respecting distance and sanitizing leashes, hands etc.. We have had zero Covid cases.
Private Training Lessons
This is a one on one private training lesson experience. It was created for the individual who is ready to learn how to become an expert handler and designed to help enrich your relationship with your canine through teamwork training at any level.
Group Obedience
Our group classes help proof obedience when around other dogs. Our focus is to maximize on engagement, impulse control and trust with your canine.
Puppy Development
This system is designed for puppies 8 weeks to 6 months of age. In the early development period stage of a puppy it is critical to begin giving them the structure and foundation they need right away for long term success.
