We came for brunch and tried things from both the regular and gluten free menu. My wife is celiac and she absolutely loved her food. Staff are incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. We hosted our wedding here, there was 28 of us. They did it with 2 months notice, our guests got to pick their menu options (the brisket was raved about). They did our custom wedding favours, placed the tables how we wanted, set up a kids table, served us all night. We hired Little Mushroom Catering to cater our wedding earlier this month. Elizabeth and Ericka could not have been more accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. With Little Mushroom's ability to also handle rentals, catering and bar services, it was a perfect choice for us. During the event, the service was outstanding, and the food was fantastic. Steph and her team at Little Mushroom Catering are nothing more than spectacular. Even with our large wedding at a venue that had never accommodated such a large group in the past, their staff were excellent at ensuring everything ran smoothly on the day-of.
With some last minute changes, they quickly adjusted and rectified the situation when the seating arrangements were slightly off. They did forget a small detail with regards to decor, and we were compensated for it financially.
The food was excellent and many of our guests raved about the quality of the food - which was on par with what we had tasted at our trial. We opted to supply our own meats and the chefs did an adequate job of cooking them, and we were pleased with the quality served to our guests.
Little Mushroom is excellent and communicating in a timely manner and any changes we requested were met with professionalism and in a prompt manner. Beth was spectacular at making me (Bride) feel at ease with my choices and requested changes in terms of decor that was to be rented.
Overall, we couldn't have been happier with LMC, and would strongly recommend them for weddings! They served our 200 guest wedding, outdoors, flawlessly and were wonderful to work with!

How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We have customizable menus for plated or buffet service, with over 80 different hors d'oeuvres to choose from for your cocktail reception.

Why should our clients choose you?
*We are Feast On Certified by the Culinary Tourism Alliance, which means that we submit all of our food and drink receipts to a third party to verify that we are using a certain amount of locally raised and grown ingredients. We are very focused on using local products and working with local farmers. We have our liquor license, and all of our beer, wine, spirits, cider are made in Ontario.
*We are certified Living Wage Employers and part of the Better Way Alliance of Ethical Employers. We are dedicated to providing meaningful work at competitive pay while being an inclusive and diverse work environment.
*We are heavily involved in our community. You may have tasted our food already at a Chamber of Commerce event, or at a local fundraiser like Empty Bowls or Taste of Guelph.
*We are B Corp Certified as a business for good with a focus on environmental sustainability and social responsibility. We avoid disposables, and will offer composting & recycling at all of your events if you don't already do that within your office space.
