Went today to enjoy some Family Day fun with part of the fam jam. The Raclette was delicious & enjoyed by all, asides from two of my three children (no go for Cauliflower for them both). Enter the super funky & full of colour grilled cheese! It wasn’t lacking in flavour either! My son was so very excited to eat this & he hasn’t stopped talking about it since! The hip, friendly Elgin-istas that look after cheese, wine, jazz and java addicts alike make for a design, taste and experience conscience team that is clearly dedicated to making your next visit to La Fromagerie even better than your last. Time spent sipping and noshing is fine on its own, but it seems like events, typically in the evening, are where the Fromo really springs to life and bursts into culinary bloom. We’ve been there for jazz night and for a wine and cheese tasting, and their selection of cheese is equal parts rare, local and tried and true. They also peddle a a selection of locally made wares (the olive tapenade might change your life, and it will certainly elevate your cheese and charcuterie boards!). The space is thoughtfully appointed, light, and refreshingly authentic, leaving one to feel as though they are in the sparkling, vibrant, mouth-watering heart of Sudbury’s revitalization renaissance.
