We had a 5 hour wait and this lounge was a very welcomed break. Very comfortable and excellent food. The beer and wine are good.

Came here on a family trip not long ago, the airport was a highlight of the trip. According to my cousin who's a pilot: If you fly the plane, you get a priority row. Passenger check-in time is relatively short, with a variety of restaurants to fill your stomach whilw you wait for the flight. Easily accesible whether by car, metro or public transport. More...

If your flight leaves from terminal 1, be at the airport as fast as possible (maybe three hours before your flight), during holiday season, it is packed. Also, I shouldn’t have to wait twenty minutes for my bags to arrive at the carousel. More...

Pearson Airport is outdated and about 20 years behind the population growth of the GTA , this airport worst than many 3rd world countries airports , always crowded with long line, security check points are very slow and inefficient, executive lounge always overcapacity and you need to reserve and wait about an hour to get in. Parking is very expensive and good walk to the terminal. In short outdated facility and way too small for a world class city like Toronto. More...

Extremely Disappointing First Experience in Canada I arrived at Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ) on August 10, 2021, at 16:25, eager to begin my life in Canada. Unfortunately, my first interactions at the airport left me shocked and deeply disappointed. At customs, I was greeted by an agent who exhibited blatantly rude behavior from the start. He asked questions in an aggressive tone, glaring at me as though he hated me. When I mentioned I had a white noise machine in my bag (to help me sleep better), he reacted strangely and offensively, as if I had said something inappropriate, which I hadn’t. Throughout our interaction, he repeatedly circled something on my paperwork—over and over—as if trying to intimidate me. His behavior resembled that of someone having a breakdown. His actions were unprofessional and, frankly, terrifying for someone like me, visiting Canada for the first time. Then, I proceeded to immigration, where my experience worsened. The officer there appeared young and immature. He laughed with his coworkers about the circles drawn on my paperwork, showing no regard for professionalism. When he returned to me, he was visibly annoyed, rushing me and waving me away dismissively as though I were a nuisance. I have traveled through many airports around the world, but my experience at YYZ stands out as the worst. The behavior of these staff members was not only rude but also discriminatory. It felt like passive-aggressive microaggressions were directed at me, possibly because of my race. If airport staff cannot treat newcomers with basic respect, they should not be in roles where they represent Canada to the world. First impressions matter, and this kind of behavior tarnishes Canada’s reputation as a welcoming country. A Request to YYZ Management Please address these issues with your customs and immigration staff. Consider extending the reporting period for complaints. As a newcomer, I did not want to create trouble immediately upon arrival, and it took me time to realize I needed to report this incident. Even though I submitted the complaint, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has closed my complaint, stating that incidents must be reported within one year of occurrence, and your submission was made after this timeframe. YYZ, as the gateway to Canada, should be a place where all travelers are treated with kindness, professionalism, and respect—not subjected to intimidation or discrimination. More...

Just dropped my sister off , she needed assistance, was unable to lift her suitcase, thank heavens I was still there, not only did the ridiculously rude attendant at American airlines baggage drop off tell her that she has to pick it up herself, she downright even more rudely said ,don't travel if you can't pick up your suitcases. Disgusting and horrific. Seriously?? This was today with AA 3608 departing to O hare at 444 pm . Her arrival was just as worse, she was told by the wheelchair attendant to pick her own suitcase from the conveyer ramp . If someone's in a wheelchair, how the heck can they lift their baggage ????? Doesn't end there , upon bringing her to arrivals, she said we're not putting your bags on the cart , if you pay 15 $ per bag we can , otherwise you take your bags and wheel your trolley out to the exit . Is this the way passengers with disabilities are supposed to be treated???? How about making it mandatory for employees to show some respect to a senior travelling alone ??? This is a definition of senior abuse by the employees of Pearson international airport. Shame and shame on you More...

Security can take a while sometimes but once you’re in then there’s almost never any issues. Baggage claim is sometimes a large problem but not always. Some gates can be further than you think so make sure you know where it is before settling in somewhere. Airport staff seem more than willing to help most of the time. More...

I know that the airport officials won't even see my writing but I have to say it because otherwise I will explode. Today my son with his wife and my granddaughters did not let him get on the plane to Dominica Republic, because according to the one who is checking in the passport had a damage. What the passport has is practically invisible to the eyes but do you know what the undesirable agent's response was? As he was not pleasant, he did not let him address that if my son had gone with a pleasant agent nothing would have happened, the audacity and disrespect of this man has no name. This is totally unacceptable and I will go to all the relevant authorities so that arrogant people and without empathy do not have to attend to passengers who with sacrifice and effort take a family vacation. Was having such a bad day, was in a rush and almost missed my flight, I was helped by this officer Miguel Cabrera, he was so friendly and helped me get through quite promptly, he understood my situation and was very sympathetic, he also made me laugh during hard times and not to mention he was a handsome gentleman.

Toronto Pearson International Airport is modern, spacious, and efficient. The high glass ceilings create a bright and welcoming atmosphere, while the self-check-in kiosks and clear signage make navigation easy. The staff are kind and accommodating, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The holiday decorations are a nice touch, making the space feel warm and inviting. More...
