They will be finishing up tomorrow. 5 star service, truly professional. They had over 250k worth of equipment, brought proof of insurance and made me feel at ease. Tree 100% came down in 1 day. I'm always cautious and critical when it comes to having any sort of services performed on my behalf.
Being a former service provider, I understand both sides of the story full well having a good idea of what each side should realistically expect of the other. The key component being trust between all parties.
J. C. Contracting performed admirably in every aspect and were pleasant to deal with. Large tree removal is tricky, hazardous, and things can go oh so wrong, so the stress and responsibility are great. I've felled a few monsters in my day and that gives me a grear respect for what they're up against. They were on time, on track and efficient and performed precisely as promised. They had a large number of full-grown trees to deal with, some with awkward and dangerous shapes, some were stricken with decay making them very dangerous to work on. And they made it look easy. The conducted themselves professionally and were quite approachable. They make it easy to be on a friendly basis. They did very well all round. This is straight from the hip, I don't embellish on those that may be deficient and don't praise those who are lacking, even if it was myself.
The cleanup was well done, the entire property was left in far better shape than before they arrived, as it had been neglected for a year. Brush and branches were removed, trees cut up into sized cord wood and very neatly stacked. Debris gone. The bonus is that they can do other work, such as repairing a roof edge damaged by one tree that that struck it in a windstorm. Plus some other unrelated work that I'm now too bad of shape to complete.
I'm sure there are many good tree experts out there that also perform well, and I cast no dispersion on them. But, of course, you can only hire one and I believe I chose well and will hire them again in the future. I relied on my gut feelings to make the choice, as they served me well over my past 75 years.
Its nice to know that there's a team out there that I can trust and rely upon to get such difficult work done without a hitch or any hidden, unpleasant surprises. Thanks guys. You did great! More...
