What do you love most about your job?
Painting is my favourite trade. I was raised a fairly gifted artist, and always liked being active. I think that's why this was a good fit for me and I enjoy this style of business.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Seven years ago, I felt I had watched my employers enough for me to take the big exciting step to doing it myself, for myself. At first by myself, but now I have access to workers and years of experience in managing them.
Why should our clients choose you?
There are only so many ways to paint, and only so many materials that are best. I do the best work, the fastest work, and efficient work that can be done. I do my best and buy the best for what is needed.
However, unlike many other painters who also do their best, I won't do unnecessary upsells, I won't use bottom end materials, I communicate, and I'm happy to please. Myself and my workers do not smoke, and we respect the business. There is no drinking, smoking, or drug use while James R Allan Painting is around. Not every painter can promise that.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Absolutely not. I have to see a job to fairly quote it. Pictures are misleading, and will only result in a majorly inflated quote.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
If we are feeling ill, we stay home.
This way we eliminate any concerns that elderly clients might have, whether it be concern over Covid19 or the common cold. Always keep germs away from the elderly, is what my ethos is. It is most practical and considerate.
