I'm on occasion asked why I chose a career as a financial planner. I've often said to many colleagues, it's not necessarily about the company you work for (IG is a great one), it's most importantly about the people (clients) you work with, and helping them achieve their financial goals.

The best part of what I do is helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals. We all invest money to make money, but its the goals behind why we invest that are the key towards reaching those achievements. Whether its buying a vehicle, a new home, or passing the family cottage to children. We all have financial goals, and working with a comprehensive certified financial planner helps you get there.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My family has run their own businesses for years and I felt that I could offer more to people by running my own financial practice versus a 9 to 5 job.

Moving temporarily from in person meetings to virtual meetings allows clients to still receiving the planning they deserve while keeping everyone safe.
