Our downtown Stratford office team invited GCAYT to cater a team lunch for us with a Mexican/tacos theme. It wasn't part of their usual fare, but they quickly came up with a great menu tailored to our small group (seven people). The service, delivery, and setup/takedown were impeccable. They were flexible with payment options and delivery timing. But honestly, the food was the high point of our team's taco lunch. It was delicious, and the ingredients were fresh and creative. The day of the event everything was fantastic, the setup help, the food and service was on point! the communication between administration and the chef team not so great. This is the second time we have worked with Gourmet Chef at your Table. The first was for my nephew's wedding on our property - 180 people were so complimentary of the food and service. We recently hired Gourmet Chef at Your Table to run our bar for the inaugural Friday night opening of the Stratford Art Market at Factory 163, and the experience was truly wonderful. We connected with Bob on short notice, coming to them with a somewhat unique setup, and from the very beginning, he and his team were incredibly professional, open, and adaptable. There was a real sense of ease from start to finish. Even with last-minute adjustments, everything was handled smoothly and without hesitation, making the entire process so easy on our end. We wanted a simple, welcoming “sip and shop” atmosphere, and they elevated it beautifully with thoughtful touches. Gourmet Chef catered our daughter’s outdoor cottage wedding for 100 this past weekend. Bob and his incredible team of chefs, servers and bartenders were outstanding in every way. They came highly recommended by our planner and they exceeded all our expectations. Cocktail hour and dinner service was all passed hors d’oeuvres. The hot food was piping hot and the chefs and servers kept the food flowing! A few favourite items were the macaroni and cheese bites w caramelized onions, pulled pork poutine, and hot honey sliders! I recently had the pleasant experience of working alongside chef Dan, Sophia, and Rachel, They worked efficiently and showed great respect for the venue. We hired gourmet chef for my sons 16th birthday. It was a small intimate dinner for about 25 people. They were the best from start to finish. They were super responsive. I could call text or email and they were always available. When it came to the actual event they arrived early, set everything up and the food was sooo delicious. They cleaned everything up, more than I had expected them to, they packed up all the food for me In containers. They were truly amazing! Great experience and fantastic food. Bob arrived promptly and set up everything to cook and serve our food. The charcuterie the 6 of us shared was beautifully arranged and meats, cheeses and breads were delicious. We chose Caesar salad and chicken Provençal as our starter and main courses. You must taste these foods to believe how flavourful they were!! Each course was beautifully plated and served to us at the table, followed by a description of what we were about to eat. I can’t remember when I’ve had such a great meal!! On top of this, Bob shared tips and tricks for cooking during the entire experience. And very useful tips they were. Dan explained very well the way things would work, as this was the first time I used a service like this. The chef Maggie worked so hard and I want to thank her personally as the food was absolutely delicious. The servers were extremely professional, fun and friendly. We provided some of the food for the event ourselves with a few different charcuterie boards that complimented the food served by Gourmet Chef. Incredible experience and incredible food. Chef Bob did not disappoint. We had Gourmet Chef join us for an extended family dinner. We had the Arancini, Bruschetta and pulled pork tacos to start, a strawberry salad, the Beef tenderloin and finished with a hazelnut tartlet with coffee ice cream. We booked Bob, Liz and their team on short notice for our Hanukkah party and they were super thorough, attentive and detail oriented leading up to the event and during. The day of they arrived (with food, cooking apparatuses, tables, chairs, culterily, wine glasses, napkins et all) way ahead of time and managed the whole affair with expert precision, warmth and efficiency.
