I recently spent a couple of months being treated by Alexis Boosamra at Activ Axion. Her service was very friendly, professional and thorough. I felt like I was in great hands from the first session. My knee injury was preventing me from doing the physical activities that I loved and Alexis helped me get back to those activities, cautiously and with a lot of support and expert treatment. I followed her recommendations and regular communications for exercises and home care of my knee, as well as for the timing of my return to physical activity, and I'm so thankful that I did! My knee is doing great and I couldn't be more pleased. After experiencing some extreme discomfort in my right foot due to sprint training in the wrong footwear, I sought help from Alexis @ ActivAxion and she was able to assess, evaluate, and set up a treatment session to address my pain. Her thorough knowledge, attention to detail, and acute awareness of what was the cause and what manipulation was needed gave me confidence that after the treatment and prescribed exercises, I would be back on my feet and ready to work. No doubt I was right and as a result, none of my training was interrupted at all and the pain dissipated within 24-48 hours. I had tendinitis in my right shoulder and neck pain for years .I found Mario through internet . I reached out to him , he did my assessment thoroughly, gave me shockwave therapy and also he gave me exercises. All together I had 8 sessions with him . As a new mom, I visited Alexis for four sessions to address hip pain I developed from carrying my baby on my hip for the past ten months. The pain escalated to the point where it affected my daily tasks and caused me to walk with a limp. Thanks to Alexis’ treatment plan, I began to notice significant improvement by the second session! By the third session, the pain had nearly disappeared. I’m so relieved to be able to return to my normal activities and walk comfortably again. I just want to say thank you so much to Alexis for her help in my full recovery after pulling my lower back muscle. I was glad to have come across an advert on the pain management services offered by Neuro Health (Activ Axion) and had the opportunity to meet up with Mario in May 2024. My initial appointment with Jordan Katsoulis of Neuro Health Performance was to seek relief for pain I was having in one of my forearms. I was given a total body assessment and continued seeing Jordan on a weekly basis so we could work on weaknesses I had in various areas as my job dictates that I sit for many hours on a daily basis. Jordan worked on different pressure points each week and she demonstrated various exercises to work on, and followed up with a weekly email describing each exercise. I’ve always lived a very active life and have been somewhat limited in my activities over the past 10 years due to lower back pain. I tried several different types of therapy (chiro, osteo, physio) which somewhat helped unblock the issue temporarily, but none helped find a permanent fix… until I started using Mario Starnino’s services. Not only was he able to temporarily unblock my issues for relief, but with a personalized strengthening program to match my morphology, he was able to help permanently fix my lower back issues. It took time and effort, but I am back to running 2-3 times per week, playing soccer and golfing once a week, and going to the gym 3 times per week at the ripe old age of 52!
