Classical piano lessons
When you sign up for one-to-one piano lessons, you can be assured of plenty of individual attention and focus. My lessons are structured, and they are paired with a written weekly progress feedback to guide your practice at home. Each lesson involves an element of learning and interactive activities, but the majority of the class is devoted to playing the piano expressively and honing your technical skills.
Piano Accompaniment
I offer piano accompanying services for music rehearsals, examinations, competitions, and concert performances. My collaborative piano experience extends from coaching various chamber music ensembles at the undergraduate level to co-founding and performing with the Malaysian Piano Quartet. Look forward to rehearsing with you and making music together!
Music theory and ear training
No matter your level of skill or experience, you will gain new understanding of the inner workings of music through music theory and harmony. Depending on your needs, this class could also be incorporated into your piano lessons. Each session includes theoretical instruction and an element of aural analysis to give you the necessary tools to develop a musical ear, along with plenty of activities to put your new knowledge into practice.
