I had the vegan wheat, mushroom, and thyme risotto, and it was absolutely amazing. It made me so happy to finally taste vegan food that was created to shine on its own, not just as a copy of a non-vegan dish. I’ve seen a lot of restaurants carry one or two vegan items but not really know how to make them stand out without animal products. I noticed that they not only have a great variety of vegan options, but also gluten-free, halal, and vegetarian dishes. Amazing service from Brooke, who was welcoming, accommodating, and very kind. *Updated my below review because we have been back as a party of 3 or 4 and food, drinks & service have been fabulous! Really wishing the team the very best, we needed a bistro just like this in Davenport Village. A real little welcome gem in the neighbourhood. The food was delicious, everyone one of the 4 people in our party had something completely different, including a salad, a risotto and a sandwich - it was all very delicious! The only quibble is the that, although the server was very nice, she seemed overwhelmed by a few tables and service was slow. When it was mentioned that they could’ve sold at least two of us a couple more alcoholic drinks, had she just asked if we wanted a second before she hurriedly cleared our first glass - she mentioned that yeah, she agrees but they were too busy?! Considering the money restaurants make on alcoholic beverages and the fact that she wasn’t the one mixing the drinks, that seemed odd. We really wanted that second drink… Despite that hiccup, we really look forward to going back and hope that the restaurant puts down deep roots in Davenport Village. Me and my family just had brunch there. We were all bery impressed by the quality and quantity of food. We had two different bennies, a cheese toastie (and I don't remember what the 4th one ordered), and it was all amazing. Best brunch experience in years.

Absolutely recommend Cheffry's. We were a group of 8, both the food and the service were impeccable. Each of us had an appetizer and a main, everyone found the food delicious. The restaurant is cozy, probably only seats about 30 or so people. The menu also offers gluten free options if you're looking for that.
