Over the last year I’ve used 2 companies to design my website – with each I overpaid, and they underperformed. So, I decided to compromise and reach out to designers asking for more inexpensive platforms that fell short of my needs but were in my budget. That’s when Jay contacted me – he listened to what I needed and then suggested my original idea and added a few amazing elements to my wish list. Having played this game with the other 2 companies, I asked for a quote and scope of work on the less expensive platforms. Jay listened more and brainstormed with me how I wanted to sell my product and came back again with the platform and concept I originally wanted. Once I told him it was out of my price range and that I’d revisit the concept with Chameleon Ideas in the future he could have easily taken the quick sale and built a site that wasn’t right for me. I was prepared to compromise but Jay wasn’t. Over the next few days Jay worked to understand what my site needed to be successful and came up with a reasonable quote that fit my budget. Once Chameleon Ideas had my initial deposit their great service did not stop. Jay introduced Rob, my website’s designer and that’s when I knew I had made the right choice. I told Rob what I wanted, and he came up with design concepts that I wasn’t aware of and improved ideas I already had. A word of advice if you're lucky enough to work with Rob – let him know what you want but also allow him the freedom to best use his creative skills – you'll be rewarded for it.
