Coady and his team did a great job painting the interior of my home, as well as a bathroom cabinet - the job looks perfect, there were many holes to be filled and spots that needed work, and after they were done the walls look completely new and fresh. They were friendly, very accommodating and easy to work with, provided good advice, and completed the job on time even though I added items to be painted partway through. Couldn't be happier. We have now used Brushwerks for an interior project and an exterior one. Inside we had trim, baseboards, ceilings, and wainscoting repainted. They did a great job and our interior looks refreshed and bright. Adam just worked through the weekend to paint our exterior trim, eavestroughs, and gutters. We contacted Adam from Brushwerks based on the reviews we saw online and we had a phone conversation and then texted to confirm our appointment and scheduled a visit to our home for Sunday at 1230pm. On the day of our scheduled meeting he called to cancel the appointment saying he was too busy. He then said he would come to our place on the Monday at 4pm. I changed my work schedule to accommodate this visit. Adam did not show up and did not call to apologize for not missing the 2nd visit. I then texted him questioning what took place and how he could miss two back to back home visits when we were trying to provide him new business. After a week of receiving my text Adam called me and offered to meet to apologize in person and to look at our project. Although we will not be moving forward with Brushwerks, Adam did provide some good insight and suggestions and also offered to provide names for other reputable painters in the area.. I do strongly believe that google review should be used as a platform to highlight both a positive experience and one that has opportunities to improve. Adam from Brushwerks recently painted the entire interior of my three-storey home—after many years without a refresh—as well as some exterior woodwork painting, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. He did an excellent job from start to finish. He took the time to properly prep all surfaces, and paid attention to every aspect in his painting work, and it showed in the consistent paint coverage and clean edges, and the fact that he didn’t miss a single spot. He also went above and beyond by addressing some problem areas and doing some high-quality drywall repair. The end result looks amazing. Adam was punctual, reliable, and stuck to the timelines we discussed. He clearly explained the process upfront, which gave me a lot of confidence in his work. He was respectful of my space, kept everything tidy, and cleaned up thoroughly after each workday. The price he charged for the work was fair and competitive and I though it was great value, particularly given the extent of the work I asked him to do. several months ago we hired Brushwerks to strip the paint off our 100 year old railing and banister and repaint it. Each time we had painted it previously the paint would soon start to chip off. Coady, Adam, and their friendly, professional and hardworking team did a beautiful job painting nearly every surface of the interior of our 4 story townhome; walls, cupboards, stairs, railings, baseboards, ceilings, doors, fireplace, a stone wall, and even completed popcorn ceiling removal. Everything was done with utmost care and precision. It was a big job (tall ceilings & very tall stairwells, and covering many dark colours with white). Even with adding items after the job began, they happily completed everything in the timeframe. They had a great team working long hours, and working on the weekends too. From the start, we appreciated the detailed and professional quote that itemized individual rooms, projects, pieces, and materials. Communication was excellent and appreciated throughout the entire process (everything from reviewing the quote, making changes and suggestions, and ensuring satisfaction).
