About

I am a certified clinical counselor working with individuals, couples, children and families. I am bilingual in English and Farsi. My practice encourages a holistic approach where I help clients to heal by providing tools for awareness and recognizing their entire human and life experience in an integrative approach to healing the mind. The therapeutic modalities used in session will depend on the client’s needs. However, I have a specialized focus on trauma, PTSD, anxiety and depression, abuse, stress, emotional overwhelm and work/life balance. The work I do is a person centered approach, following the needs of the client to where they want to go.

I hold a special gratitude in my heart for being able to help clients in addressing trauma and setbacks that has held them back in life. I believe each person has the ability to grow and feel better once given an empathetic and empowering environment.
People often ask me why I became a counsellor. I have always had a strong desire to help others and there are many more reasons that I cannot possibly describe here briefly, but, the most important reasons that resonates with me the most is that I want to create a positive change in the lives of others and I seek a meaningful work; where life experience are valued.

I would like to acknowledge that counselling may be a hard and difficult step in the beginning, but when you feel ready to begin this journey I will be with you to remind you to trust in the process and the therapeutic tools to bring along the change that you need.
