I don’t know am so happy to have found Heidi and Tony. I have a new rescue and a second dog that was in the home for a few years prior. I was having trouble getting my new boy to adjust. He was not listening and over excited. I hired barks and parks to help get out some of the energy and socialize in group walks. I was very concerned with recall but Heidi was able to work with my boy and in a WEEK, he was listening. Love the videos she creates. Suggest following barks and parks on social to see what they do. My dog has now stayed overnight on 2 occasions. Once for a weekend and the other for 8 days. Barkandparks.ca have been so loving and caring. In searching for a dog walker I found many only offer the one service type. I wanted someone I could rely on for overnight when I wanted to vacation or a business trip. Love that these guys do both. I recommend highly. Not my first time using them for walking and overnight, not the last either. They are attentive to my dogs personal needs and creates a fun atmosphere with lots of love. My dog is always happy to see them. Prices are very fair. I have found some walkers just let the dogs run around. They actually play and get them going. They are amazing ! We get regular pics and videos from walks and it’s never boring. They really do go for adventure with their unique approach. They even keep towels in the care for such occasions. I also love that they have doggie seat belts in the Jeep ! More...

We have a 6 year old retriever who seems to know the days of the week. On the 4 days a week we have Heidi and/or Tony walk Milo he waits at the door for them. We recently used them for overnight care also. We went on vacation for a week and they sent us regular updates and it was clear how easy the transition was for Milo. I can't recommend Barks and Parks enough for any dog owner looking for top notch care and fun for their furry friend! My male husky Shadow, absolutely loves his group off-leash walks with them 5 days a week. The team at Barks and Parks goes above and beyond to make sure every dog in their care has a safe and enjoyable experience. Crumpets is our beautiful mixed breed, 50 lb rescue. He came to our home 6 months ago and was afraid of everyone and everything. I work from home 2 days a week but needed help for the other 3. We tried 2 dog walkers who gave up when they could not get him to leave the house or stop shaking. Then we asked barksandparks.ca to try. Tony and Heidi came together for the first greeting. They sad on the floor and waited patiently for Crumpets to come to them vs getting in his space. Talking to him gently. It took 40 minutes but Crumpets gave in and slowly edged forward. Then, he allowed Tony to pet him. They did get him out for a short walk. Now, Crumpets runs to either of them, excited for his walks and will even socialize with other dogs. I will never be able to thank them enough for helping me show Crumpets there are good people out there and he can trust in those around him.

Our dog Brave stayed with Heidi for 8 nights and we were a little worried. He had never stayed with someone before and is very clingy. To our surprise and happiness, Brave adjusted quickly and when we picked him up , although excited to see us , was hesitant to leave. Clearly loved it there. We have used Barks and Parks before and they are great, our dog is always happy to see them coming. Particularly seems to love the rides in her Jeep, and I love that Heidi always has special seat belts ready for them. They send us full updates and pictures from every walk.
