Igor and his team did an above exceptional job. We can’t rave enough about the exceptional quality of both the service and the food. The food on the day was hands down the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding. We had numerous guests comment on the food with many saying that it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding.

Our wedding was in Cambridge at a very small facility that didn’t have a kitchen. Igor drove down from Toronto to tour the facility and took it all in stride. He refused to cook the food at their facility in Toronto and transport it (which we would have been fine with). Instead, at no extra charge to us, he set up a kitchen under a tent in the parking lot and he and his chef prepared an amazing feast on-site, exactly on time and with amazing customer service.

The food was exceptionally presented - perfect heat for the hot and perfect cold for the cold (salad, desserts). We opted for a roast beef carving station and the roast beef was among the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, it was tender enough to cut with a spoon. The chicken dish was perfect as well – it was hard to choose one over the other so everyone had both. The salads and sides could have been feature dishes.
The hors d’oeuvres were seasonal and amazing.

I worked in the catering industry for many years and I have to say that the serving staff, chef and bartender were among the best staff I’ve ever worked with in any capacity. They anticipated needs, were perfectly attentive, knowledgeable and friendly but always professional. I wished I’d been able to find employees this good for my own business back in the day. They were constantly going above and beyond to make our guests feel like they were rich people in a high-end spa.

I was very nervous when I selected Artisanal Affair Catering and Events because they were just starting out and there wasn’t a lot of reviews available for them. Something about Igor’s manner, professionalism and confidence made me feel comfortable selecting them over many other quotes. And these folks blew away our expectations. An amazing meal, amazing staff, amazing value for the money.

Artisanal came in with the lowest cost quotes and offered far more for the money than the next closest competitor. The wait staff and on-site chef were all beyond amazing. Even with adding on a few extra extravagances, they still came in lower than any of the other quotes.

Igor really gave us a lot of confidence in the planning stages and that makes all the difference in the world. Once we landed on something I never had to worry if he would remember, I was really impressed. From selecting the menu to even offering some advice on layouts and decor his level of service, attention to detail and professionalism was superb and impressive.

At the end of the evening, the wait staff even volunteered to help tear down the event even though it was outside of the scope of their services. Really can’t recommend them enough. Totally amazed by this caterer. More...
