We graduated today and we are SO happy with how our Basic Obedience class went! I would highly recommend this class to anyone who needs their dog to pay attention and be well behaved both on and off a leash, in and outside, and with other dogs. We loved the outdoor, high distraction, high stimulus training environment. Jessie ensures she is teaching both the owner and the dog how to work together. She is well educated, diversely trained, and has a little dog-hack for absolutely everything. The price is right, the training is unique and fitted to you, and now we get several compliments on our dog and his behavior. We couldn't be happier. Do it. Take the time, make the investment. Just finished basic obedience with my 10 month old chocolate lab Stu. I cannot express the gratitude and appreciation I have for Jessie as a trainer! The methods she practices are fair, educational and effective! At no point in the training did I doubt that I had made the best choice for Stu and I! We both learned so much and I can honestly say that if you put in the time with your dog and implement the training as instructed your dog ( and you) will come out on top! Stu was an excessive puller and after the course he has mastered loose leash walking which was something I didn't know if we could get to. Thank you Jessie!!!!�� More...

Jessie and her team are amazing, I did private training which helped immensely with me and my dog Bowie. And now Bowie does the adventure hikes every week, which is not only convenient for the odd days I can't get my dog out for myself, but Bowie comes home a happier and more balanced dog every time they drop him off!

We have a 15 month old Bouvier, whom had some bad behavior habits, realizing he is just a pup we thought at 6 months old we would attend classes with a different un-named so called professional dog behavior specialist. This persons methods were what we considered barbaric and at times cruel. We stopped using these methods within a week as our dog was becoming mean and afraid of us. Jessie was highly recommended to us and after the first visit we knew she uses very compassionate but effective methods. Her tools she taught us to use are very effective and cured issues he had. We just had our two dogs (shihtzus) groomed at My Balanced Dog, on the weekend and we are thrilled!! Terrie did an amazing job and we are not the easiest pet parents to please. The dogs look wonderful and we have been getting compliments everywhere we go. Not to mention, the dogs were the least stressed out that they have been after the groomers and they feel great.
