What do you love most about your job?
I am passionate about seeing positive changes in clients occurring right in front of me as they gain insight and direction about how to get "unstuck" from a difficult place in their life.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I studied and taught psychology and was fascinated with how humans feel, think and behave. Learning how to use science within a therapeutic relationship to help others be their best was the inspiration behind starting the Stress Center, and its sister agency, Freedom Counselling.
Why should our clients choose you?
I don't offer "traditional therapy" where a client might spend weeks (and lots of money!) telling a counsellor all about the place where they're stuck - the "swamp" - only to have the therapist leave them there. My job is to partner with you and give you the tools and understanding to get out of the swamp quickly, and know how to avoid the swamp in the future!
