Q&As

Helping both dogs and their owners. I volunteer at a rescue shelter weekly and see too many dogs surrendered due to behaviours that are so easy to correct.

My own puppy, Winston. I’ve had many dogs in the past but he was my first puppy.

Because I care and I always do my best to make sure clients feel at ease and empowered with the tools I’m giving them while making sure to INCREASE the bond between owners and their dog(s).

I can provide general tips but it’s hard to modify behaviours or even teach obedience in absence of the owner and dog. Consultations are OK for new puppy owners.

Followed government directions/recommendations as they evolved over the months.

Services

House-breaking (potty training), crate-training, nipping and other undesirable behaviours (jumping, barking, etc). Socializing/acclimating to various stimuli (vacuum, claws, cone, etc). Basic obedience: Sit, down, stay, boundaries, intro to leash walking, etc. General advice such as crate placement, feeding methods, routines, play, bonding with family members, etc.

Sit, down, stay, heel walking, boundaries. All taught using positive reinforcement methods thus encouraging a stronger bond between you and your dog. No aversive techniques are used or taught.

Prevent or remove behaviours such as jumping on strangers/guests, nipping, emotional incontinence, excessive barking, destructive chewing, counter-surfing, pulling on leash.

Eliminate reactivity and redirect focus on owner/handler as opposed to various triggers (dogs, strangers, wildlife, fast moving objects).
