I absolutely had the best experience with Vanessa. I am extremely camera shy and was not comfortable with having photos done, although I knew they were a necessary 'evil' for social media. I had an incredible experience at Vanessa's private studio in Nerang. Right from the beginning, the pre-consultation was thorough and professional, with Vanessa taking the time to understand me and my brand. On the day of the shoot, her expertise and ability to make me feel comfortable, even when I felt uncomfortable, was outstanding. I also highly recommend getting the hair and makeup done — my eyelashes lasted nearly two weeks, and I loved not having to put mascara on during that time! So… I just had my "40 Over Forty" photoshoot and let me tell you, I am still feeling high from the experience! As a mother, the entire last decade was dedicated to raising children and contributing to the partnership, family, friends and community. My journey of motherhood transformation has taken centre stage in life and shifted my focus from myself to my children. I have not reflected on my physical appearance, for the most part, I haven’t had a full mirror near and am too busy at times even to brush my hair! I was attracted to this project primarily out of a need to update my decade-old professional image, and upon meeting with Vanessa, was inspired to go all out and glam up for the event. I wanted to get some portraits done to celebrate my 60th year (celebrating all year). I talked 3 girlfriends into doing it with me as they are in their 60th year also.
