Excellent service! The adviser did a full analysis of our existing financial products and pointed out discrepancies between what we thought we were covered for and what we were actually covered for and in a very comfortable and seamless process rectified these concerns. We now know exactly where we stand and the concerns that still need to be addressed. We were stunned to see how much we did not know about our own financial status / needs. Highly recommended More...

Quentin Binneman is very thorough in advising which products would be best suited for me specifically as well as explaining my policy. He is friendly, very professional and answered all my questions sufficiently. Would recommend his services through EQ-FIN twice. More...

Q&As

Having the opportunity to look after "widows and orphans" by ensuring financial stability to families no matter what the tides bring. To be able to assist with financial solutions where individuals could no longer see the light at the end of the tunnel.

All successful professionals have their own personal lawyers, personal accountants, personal tax practitioners, personal bankers and their own personal financial advisors. We believe that financial freedom should not be exclusive to the elite, but that every individual or family should have access to financial freedom.

Although we all understand on a basic level how to budget and how to "work" with our finances, the option of protecting our wealth that we work so hard for and expanding our wealth seems to be reserved only to those who can afford it.

The rest of us have to make due with "cold-calls" from call centres, selling us policies that we do not understand, based on "solutions" designed for the collective. I myself therefore started this campaign of "Your Personal Advisor" as I believe that each and every individual should have their own personal financial adviser who can manage, protect and grow their wealth by means of providing solutions based on the needs of the individual and not the estimated need of the collective.

When it comes to finance, we are not only talking paper and nickel. Your financial status affects your level of wellness (health), level of living (lifestyle), level of comfort (luxuries) and studies show that it could even affect your cortisol / serotonin balance (literally happiness). I therefore offer more than just financial advice, but financial assurance. The comfort of knowing as opposed to the stress of uncertainty. In order to achieve this, I ensure that I have a personal yet professional relationship with each and every client, establishing a relationship where I am not merely looking after your finances as an external concern, but after you and your family as a primary concern.

Yes. Although I do prefer face-to-face meetings as building a relationship with the client is, for me, of the utmost importance. Recent developments in a world-wide pandemic has however forced us to move to safer platforms of conducting business and I am therefore not opposed to meeting on any accessible virtual platform of the client's choice.

Virtual meetings on request. Strict Covid-19 regulations as set out in the Disaster Management Act of South Africa.

What legacy are you leaving behind for those who follow?

Ensure you leave behind a legacy of care - not suffering and regret.

Your greatest asset is not your house, your car or even your Bitcoin. Your greatest asset is your ability to earn an income.

If you had a machine in your house that printed money daily, would you insure it?

Of course you would. You are the machine. Ensure that YOU are insured.

Having a last will and testament is paramount for ALL. Not having this in place, will cause your estate to be dissolved in line with the Intestate Succession Act of (Act 81 of 1987), meaning the way that you intended your legacy to be preserved and remembered will be disregarded. Having a testament and last will compiled should always be completely free of charge and there is therefore no excuse not to have one.

"It won't happen to me" - Everyone.

Don't be a statistic. Be insured. Rest assured.

There is never a better time to ensure that you are adequately insured than immediately. Tragedy is fortuitous and unforeseeable. Your planning shouldn't be.
