What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
It all starts with light. Good, flattering and appropriate lighting gives shape, texture and helps sell.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Where will the material be used? Online or print?
What format - portrait or landscape? To fit your web page design.
How many items to be photographed? This determines time needed, and hence, cost in both shooting and post-production.
Do your products shots have to be isolated on white, deep-etched?
What do you love most about your job?
Designing the lighting setup to make even a bland subject appear sexy.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Demand from regular customers while I was still holding down a day job.
Why should our clients choose you?
I think. I take responsibility, choose angles, lighting, setups with the client's needs in mind, even if the client is not available to guide me.

Would love to, but this is not possible in photography. I do client briefings online though.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Worked with masks on all the time, and insisted clients do same. This is crucial in a studio shoot environment.
