What makes a great website?
A great website must have visual appeal and be easy to navigate.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What would you like to achieve? How do you visualise the end product? What is the deal-breaker in terms of results you want to achieve? What is the delivery timeframe? What would you like to spend?
Describe your creative process.
The client gives us a brief (either a formal brief or we can put it together with the client). We prepare a costing for approval. Once approved, we then present concept designs for comment. We take in the changes and resubmit to client for final approval. In the case of a publication or an email newsletter, we would interview the relevant stakeholders, write the copy, do the design and handle the distribution as well. We offer a one-stop service.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Required outcomes, including what they visualise, budgetary constraints and deadlines.
What do you love most about your job?
Being able to be creative. Creating a long-term relationship with clients so that we become part of the team and are able to operate pro-actively rather that just reactively.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I spent many years in corporate positions, and wanted the opportunity to make a real difference in clients' lives.
