We always go to Sunshine Flowers for all our flower needs. They impress and amaze me every time. My grandma was recently diagnosed with Leukemia after 2 years of severe heart conditions that are unable to be fixed now due to the cancer. Today would have been her 61 year anniversary with my grandpa who passed away 6 years ago. Every year he would get her red and white carnations for Poland colors(where they are from). She was in the hospital this morning and was transferred into the nursing home and they delivered the flowers immediately after I called to make sure she received them while she was still in the hospital to brighten up her day. Fabulous flowers at amazing prices. We got a box of creamy white hydrangeas for a gender neutral baby shower. We added some Lilly grass and the arrangements came out gorgeous. Just so you all know we were DIY. Sam ans staff at Sunshine Flowers are knowledgeable and more than accommodating. I purchased flowers from Sunshine Flowers for my wedding and they turned out beautiful! I picked the flowers up on Friday for my Sunday wedding, they were extremely fresh not 1 wilted flower. We opened each box before leaving to make sure everything was in order and it was perfect. Friday we took them all out of the boxes and put them in the vases, by Saturday morning they had all expanded and looked unbelievable! Sunday they were just as perfect! Flowers make me happy and seeing them bloom around my place really brightens my mood. It's just difficult to always justify purchasing flowers at the market, Walgreens or CVS or even from the man at the street light as they tend to be overpriced, are small bouquets and do not bloom as quality flowers should. Enter Sunshine Flowers where you can find a variety of flowers, particularly roses, at the most economical prices I've seen. A bouquet of 24 roses costs $12, regardless of color, stem length or bulb size. The only exception is the red roses, which are 24 for $14 - still quite reasonable. They also have other types of flowers, but my focus has always been on the roses. The staff is very helpful and are great at providing tips to maintain your roses (e.g., the colder the area the flowers are left the longer they will last and the smaller the bulb the more the rose bulb opens). The Eskimo and Oceania roses have offered the best blooming effect so far and I would definitely recommend requesting these. You can also purchase vases of all sizes at prices that range from $5-20. They have a convenient parking area right across the entrance to the warehouse and are conveniently open Mon.-Sat. I can never make it during the week as they close at 6 and I work late but they are open on Saturdays too so no complaints from me. If you are in need of some colorful, quality and reasonably priced flowers, or just want to brighten your day (or someone else's), Sunshine is the way to go! More...

I went to get flowers for my gf after work and I arrived a few minutes after they were closed. The woman working there saw I was outside and she unlocked the door and let me in.  She was very helpful in helping me decide which flowers to choose to make for the bouquet.  It was a great experience overall, and i didn't expect that kind of customer service by her letting me in after hours.  If I were to get flowers again, this would definitely be the place I would go back to.  Thank you Sunshine Flowers! Third wedding this year for which I used Sunshine Flowers.  I ordered over 1200 stems of assorted roses, spray roses, hydrangea, carnations, stock and green.  So many positives: they are always very helpful with questions and suggestions - i.e. they let me know that the roses I wanted were more expensive than a similar variety.  They communicate when there are issues - no roses of a particular variety were available.  They called me to let me know that and gave me other options.  The prices cannot be beat - online or locally.  Plus, you can buy just one bunch of a certain flower (not dozens that you don't need, unlike many other online flower suppliers). And finally, and most important for me and my bride - the flowers were absolutely gorgeous and in great condition - even packed in boxes and air freighted to Milwaukee.  I cannot recommend Sunshine Flowers enough!  Thanks again to the whole crew there for making another wedding in Wisconsin (this one at Lambeau Field) special. This shop is full of bright and soothing colors. When I walk inside, immediately I feel as if I was strolling through a botanical garden. The flowers look very vibrant and healthy. The florist was very polite and helpful. Thank goodness he was there to help me. I take forever making big and small decisions. It takes me at least a good 10 minutes to decide whether I want a bow on the side or the middle of gifts and I dont like staff who say both are good or it's up to me to decide. The whole point of asking is so I don't have to make the decision. However, the florist was super helpful to rummage through all the plants to find the perfect one. If it weren't for his help, I would still be in the store for a good 20 minutes coming up with pros and cons for every plant I see.The only aspect I'm not a fan of is the price, it's expensive. I know a few shops that sells flowers for much cheaper. But If I'm ever in the area and need flowers, I'll definitely come back again. More...

Wanted to send flowers to a patient at Memorial Sloan-Kettering, so yelped the address and ended up going with Sunshine Florists. The man on the phone (didn't catch his name) was super helpful, and promised to put together a nice arrangement and was mindful of my budget. I generally hate ordering flowers on the phone because you can't see them, but these turned out GORGEOUS. Just a couple of hours later, I got a photo of the arrangement via text from the recipient and it's a gorgeous and cheerful arrangement. i never gave this florist shop much consideration as i would pass by 1st ave but i needed to get some flowers for a family friends party and glad i did. it' looks old fashion outside and  location of 1st ave and corner of 52nd st seems to fit well in the area. i called in advance and stated that i needed a mix of nice smelling flowers minus roses in a ceramic vase for 50 bucks complete , the  dude on the phone was polite and suggested an arrangement that sounded good to me. the place is near my apt and i would pass by all the time even though the window display is no big deal the potted plants on display will make you stop and look.  when you enter inside it's table after table of flowers and other floral arrangements galore. so many different types of flowers, plants , mini trees, etc. the assorted plant and flowers holders and pots are lined against the brick wall on a wooden shelve that comes in many styles to fit nicely in your house or apt. when i got to the counter my flowers were ready and for 50 bucks i got a bunch of them with a wicker type holder all wrapped up nicely and easy to carry. a good local florist shop with flowers , etc for many occasions and events  with prices that are more then reasonable . I was hosting a dinner and needed a center piece.I randomly found this place on Yelp because it was located nearby the restaurant that I was going to have the dinner. My wife and I met with Irina. She emphasized that an appointment needs to be made because she's not typically at their location due to all of their events ,  so make sure you call ahead of time just in case .She showed us all of their pieces on her computer. Give her your price range because that will speed up the process. She was very helpful. She could have sold us a more expensive piece but recommended a set that was more complimentary to our party. We ordered two modern center pieces that brought our table to life. It added a substantial touch to our evening . They delivered on time and we had no complaints whatsoever. Such a wide variation of beautiful flowers!A hidden gem and I'm so so happy I was told about this place. Everytime I need flowers I will definitely be coming here. The most remarkable florist in the world is Irina from sunshine flowers. We just hosted our wedding in Brooklyn with all our flowers done by her. Our choopah was to die for and our centerpieces were breath taking. Guests could not get over how beautiful her work was. She truly went above and beyond my wildest dreams. She created a fairy tale wedding for us and we will forever be grateful and loyal to her. She didn't make me feel nervous about my flowers at all. I called Sunshine Florists for my sister's bridal shower in May 2016. I asked for delivery of centerpieces and a larger entry way bouquet. Donald was friendly and extremely helpful since I couldn't come into the store ahead of time. The price was also a great deal, and even more so after I saw the quality of the arrangements.
