What do you love most about your job?
Our joy comes from the knowledge that we are able to help a lot of students achieve academic excellence in an economy where education can easily be neglected and as well as the joy that comes from majority of parents who know that their child is receiving quality private tutoring and from the comfort of their own home.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Smart Minds Tutoring is as a result of an individual who has achieved a lot academically over the years. Started this business in order to continue and grow the platform as the platform is what most learners found to be consisting of the best journey towards having a comfortable transition into University.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are proud and dedicated to our work as tutors. As much as academics may be involved, it is always good to have a tutor that is transparent and that is what we are. We are able to identify exactly what a child needs in order to achieve their goal. At the end of the day, we work according to what a learner needs and more including the main goal which is often to have a very easy access towards a good course in University.

All our services are provided online and remotely. We use very good unlimited resources such as Google Meet and Google Classroom in order to create a very engaging atmosphere for online classes.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Our classes are fully remote. We specialize in remote learning specifically and this has come to be an advantage for most learners who are under quarantine.
Mathematics Tutoring
Akim Makokoe will be tutoring all Mathematics from Gr0 - Gr7 and Mathematics Literacy, English and Afrikaans from Gr10 - Gr12. Our Mathematics lessons have helped majority of students who come to us and have found themselves in the University of their dream or simply doing a lot better than they could have ever imagined.
English & Afrikaans Tutoring
Akim Makokoe will be tutoring English Home Language/First Additional Language and Afrikaans First Additional Language for all ages from Gr0 - Gr12. As the years progress and other subjects become more demanding. I assist students on staying on top of their language subjects that are very vulnerable to collapse if attention isn't given towards it.
