It Brings Out Your Creativity
The opportunity to express your creativity is one of the reasons why you would love to be a wedding planner. It takes alot of time coming up with solutions on budgeting and a lot more, you have to think about it, even the tiny details. It challenges my thinking capability and makes me push through my limits. It is always nice to show my creativity and be recognized for a job well done.
You Can Make People Happy
My world will revolve with people, entertainment, good food and decorations. While myr job also includes planning and logistics, my primary concern is making people happy. By doing this job I can please guests in many ways you wouldn’t know, some people might have a hard time expressing what they want to be done and I am able to still deliver quality work that they will like. Through this I can understand and read people well, it can open my mind to a new level of understanding and gratification, and no better feeling than leaving a mark on someone.
You Get to Travel
The great part of being a wedding planner is it gives me the ability to work and travel in different destinations anytime. It might be challenging moving around, meeting with clients, checking venues, and sometimes even flying to different cities. This is the difference between an office job and being a wedding planner, there are no stressful routines, no sitting in a chair all day and no boring repetitive tasks. Moving places can fire me up and motivates me, it keeps me moving and not feeling like I am in a cage.
Being a wedding planner is not an easy job, I need to pay attention even to the smallest details, there will be plenty of stories about things that went wrong and improvising to save the day. There is a long list of reasons why being a wedding planner is a challenging job, but there are also plenty of reasons why, for some people, LIKE ME... it is the best job. While it is a competitive industry to be in, there is something rewarding and fulfilling about it that I love.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It is my job to turn my clients vision into a reality. I am will be able to help create the look, style, mood and emotions clients want. With my knowledge of the wedding planning industry I am will be able to give advice on the latest trends, suppliers and styles inspired by others. Most brides picture their wedding day all their lives, so there’s nothing more satisfying then making someone’s dream come true.
