Our initial call is mostly free of charge depending on area.
We see what is required of us, how much time it'll take to put all the ideas together.
We give our clients options based on their budget - to do the work themselves by using the recommendations we provide via email or
If a client does not have the time or desire to get involved, we will literally do all the work based on their approvals of items.

I love everything aspect of it.
Pulling individually picked pieces together to create a harmonious space where our client can relax, work or entertain.
Seeing a clients reaction when they are faced with the end result is priceless.

Yes we can.
We use zoom or other forms of video calling.
We do request pictures or videos and a description of the requirements from the client to get a better understanding of the situation.
From there we can send some stunning ideas, even source the furniture or suppliers in their area to assist.
We take out the hassle of putting a person's interiors together for those who can't do it themselves.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All our staff have our masks on for the entire duration of our installations as well as all the initial appointments.
We wash and sanitise our hands regularly.
We practice social distancing wherever necessary.
Interior Decorating
We at Silken Trap have a massive array of fabric, wallpaper and flooring samples to choose from.
I, Candace, bring these to your home where we can match up colours and textures for the initial call.
From there we can decide what specialists to call in.
Do you need flooring? Painting or wallpaper?
Do you have your own furniture that we need to place or reupholster or are we starting from scratch?
Are your window treatments serving the purpose you need them to? Is there a reflection where your TV is going or do you need the light blocked out in the bedrooms...?
Is there too much echo in bigger rooms or are there smaller spaces you aren't sure what to do with?
We do it all. And we have tried and tested suppliers who are reliable and trustworthy to save you the run around and money in the long run.
Our consultations start from R190p/hour but packages are put together based each client's requirements.
Curtain manufacturing
Silken Trap Interiors know curtains and fabrics like the back of their hand.
We've had our seamstresses for 20 years of the 23 that we've been business and we've overcome every challenge that we've been presented with.
Our workmanship is meticulous and precise.
We come to you to measure up and show you fabric samples, give you advice where necessary.
You will be quoted promptly and kept informed on the progress of your project.
Installation is supervised by us personally.
