What kind of accounting services do you provide?
Capturing from source source documents, drawing ledger and trial balance, compiling finacial statements and preparing for audits.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
Good accountants are no longer number crunchers but provide business advisory advice. They make diagnosis on the strengths and weaknesses of your income statement, balance sheet and cash flows. Based on the diagnosis, they provide advise on how to improve on any line items of elements of financial statements. The perform financial projections and advise clients what to do in order achieve those projections.
What do you love most about your job?
Nothing makes me happy than assisting a business to grow from a one ma show to a medium or large business with many employees and branches.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked as a financial director in corporate for 15 years and I was unhappy to see that only large companies were able to compete in the market. Some of the barriers to market for SMMEs included access to capital , access to markets, compliance and governance. SMMEs do not have resources to overcome these barriers hence the idea of pooled resources through our business incubator.
Why should our clients choose you?
Our approach is relationship marketing where we offer our clients the whole value chain, from business modelling, business planning, financial projections, budgeting, marketing, business development and financial reporting. We also prepare our clients to be compliant so that they can access the government market.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
We provide all our services remotely except for access to business center. On engagement, we do an online workshop with the client using MS Teams, Zoom or any other platform preferred by the client, to understand their business and also verify the services that they require. We then create a G Drive where client deposits all supposing documents . We also create a whatsup group that includes our various specialist and the key personnel of the client so that when we ask questions any member is able to see and respond quickly. This also avoids duplication of questions between our consultants and clients team. We keep our clients engaged at every stem pf the way. On conclusion of our work, we hold a close up meeting with the client online.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have reduced the number of people who use our meeting rooms at any one time to 50% of the capacity.
