What do you love most about your job?
No day is the same, treatments vary from day to day.
I’m not in the same place for long durations, areas of work are always changing.
Meeting of new people and building strong relationships with clients.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Being their own boss.
Like many business owners, I’ve always had dreams of working for myself.
I ended up seeing a niche in the business and I decided to take advantage of it.
Why should our clients choose you?
Our Work Speaks For Itself
Nothing speaks as loud as continuously executing at a high level. It shows we have a well-established process. It shows we can manage the account. It shows that we have the brain power to think through and effectively communicate the strategy.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes we can and no we can’t.
We can video call clients and they can show us the pest problem, we can then give them DIY methods , that can sometimes work.
But sometimes clients may have termite infestation and a simple DIY remedy will not do the trick. You need a specialists touch
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All the basic needs such as wearing of masks at all times, all employees carrying sanitiser on them. Our employees are instructed to wear masks at all times when doing treatments throughout our clients homes and offices.
1. Entomology coc (Certificate of compliance)
1.Property inspection & entomology reports (clearance treatment certificates)-
When purchasing a property, there is usually a clause in the sale agreement requiring the seller to certify that the property in question is free from wood-destroying insects by means of an entomologist certificate.
The certificate does not cover pest control, normal degradation of wood or swelling of wood due to moisture.
It only certifies that the property is free from insects that destroy or bore through woode
2. Microbial ULV disinfection spraying
Propserve pest control offers microbial ULV (Ultra low volume) sanitization treatments for all sectors including commercial, industrial, retail, transportation & logistics, hospitality, mining, residential to name a few.
We use a highly effective disinfectant with a low environmental impact. Our disinfectant is safe on all surfaces even food contact surfaces.
3. Soil poisoning- (certificate given)
This is a chemical barrier that is applied to a building prior to throwing the concrete slab. Its purpose is to prevent Termites (White Ants) from gaining access to the building and eating skirting boards, built-in cupboards or any other timber in the building.Frighteningly, chemicals like DDT and Chlordane are still being used by builders. These toxic substances, banned due to their hazardous nature, can cause cancer, leukemia, neurological disorders etc. Use us registered pest control service
4. Termite eradication
Termite eradication- Termites are widely regarded as a damaging pest to have in your home or business. Termites (sometimes known as ‘white ants’) can cause extensive damage to the structure of a building if they are not managed or controlled by a qualified pest professional.
5. Wood borer (drywood termites)
Wood borer- Woodborer are wood destroying insects that are best identified by their love for infesting wood of various kinds. They are fairly common in human locations, especially coastal regions where they have been known to breed more frequently. A woodborers life consists of the following phases – Egg, Larva, Pupa and Beetle. Using our services means that all your Wood Borer control needs are adhered to completely and your structure is stronger than ever before.
6. Ant control
As the majority of ant species prefer sunny climates, our environment is perfect for ants to thrive in.
Although black or garden ants aren’t thought to carry diseases, they can be a particular nuisance when they get into your home. Considering that ants frequently travel through unsanitary areas before they end up on your counter tops, you won’t want them marching through your food cupboards.
7. Cockroaches
Cockroaches are well known for spreading disease and are associated with various other health risks. Exposure to this insect could put you at risk of Salmonella, Dysentery & Gastro-enteritis. Increases in eczema and childhood asthma have even been linked to cockroach droppings.
A quick response at the very first signs of an infestation is often essential to control cockroaches in your home and to prevent the spread of this pest to your neighbours.
Their ability to breed rapidly and their resil
8. Rodent control
Rodent cotrol is important in order to avoid a number of serious diseases, which rats are known to transmit. The Center for Disease Control lists nearly a dozen diseases directly linked to rats.
Rats can be very persistent and if they manage to gain access into your home or business they can spread these diseases, cause considerable damage and contaminate food.
*Rats can damage your home’s insulation.
*They can chew through floor joists and walls.
*cause fires by chewing on electrical cables.
9. Bed bugs
A traveler's biggest fear is waking up in a hotel bed (or even your own bed!) with tell-tale bed bug bites and droplets of blood on the sheets. As more and more South Africans travel abroad and international travelers visit this country, so the chances of a bed bug infestation in South African hotels and homes increase.
10. Flies
Flies are synonymous with South Africa. They’re as part of our culture as braai'ing and rugby. However, they are a pest in every sense of the word. They pose a health risk to humans, pets and livestock and can infest your home or business and spread diseases like Salmonella and E. coli. A few species may even bite humans and animals.
If a small fly problem is left uncontrolled, it has the potential to turn into a serious infestation. Some fly species are able to mature from eggs to adults in ju
11. Birds
the control of various bird species should be seen as a multi approach system because experience has shown that just one method of control normally fails as birds will try everything to get back to their nests or their young.
We have thoroughly studied the different bird species and behaviours to know when and how to implement an integrated bird control system.
12. ticks, mosquitoes, fleas etc
Other services include fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, fish moth, weevils etc
