Yes, we definitely do great, beautiful wedding photography and lifestyle photography - even creatively and artistic if you like. Our first wedding shoot happened in 2001, and I still look at those pics! We love people and capturing emotion - writing photographic memoirs!

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
We do beautiful wedding, lifestyle and boudoir photography - all to do with important moments in people's lives. We would want to ensure all the necessary info leading us to your end vision, has been provided ahead of time. Standard questions: Are you comfortable and do you feel safe? How may we make this beautiful experience the best you ever had? What do you have in mind for your shoot - is there an particular goal or message we want to capture?
What do you love most about your job?
Taking people on a journey of discovering about themselves what they never have, seeing themselves at angles that only their partners would normally see them. Facing the scars and roadmap of their journey in a photoshoot brings acceptance on a different level. To know that we may just be able to add value to a relationship or someone's self-esteem and beingness, is the greatest feeling of all. The human form lends itself to express the soul of the inner spirit of our beings Seeing this unfold during a photoshoot, is highly fulfilling to both the photographer, artist and subject. Typically a photographer photographs beautiful things, whilst an artist hopes to set a scene with a message in mind. Together with our clients, we find ways tell our stories.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been a business person - having photography as my passion since childhood. In Greek mythology, stories of daily life and occurrences were illustrated in sculpture. These were mostly crafted of the nude human form, and sometimes myths. This seems to be the most organic manner I believe one can tell a story, when there is no label defining who we want to show the world, but only the authentic body wrapped around our souls. When I do not find words to tell a story, photography becomes a language - where we aim to convey a message of a mood or emotion captured in a split second, yet that split second is part of who we are. Over the years, I always knew I will change direction and fully engage the boudoir and fine art photography genres full time.

Most photographers will undertake a beauty, nude human form or boudoir photoshoot if you ask them to, but they will also shoot a wedding, your pet, street- or even landscape photography.
Unlike many others, I specialise in creative artistic fine art and boudoir photography, so my equipment, skills and knowledge are focused on creating stunning fine art and boudoir images with you in center stage. We can shoot in unique locations, where the chair you sit on, has not been sat on by every other person who had their images created before you. Our photoshoots create unique photo sets that are personal to you - at your home, the studio, a hotel, or on location.
We all have journeys and we all have scars. I care bout my client's wholeness and beingness. Clients are safe with us and the outcomes deep and meaningful. While we create beautiful images ,I think the inner beauty is on display - this would be the essence of our photoshoot.

Product photography may be done remotely, but we are able to travel for wedding-, lifestyle,- and boudoir photography. Delivery of images can be done digitally by means of a private password protected download gallery for each client on our website.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
The studio is not a public space and is germ-free and ready upon arrival. Clients are requested to sanitize hands and we follow fair distance procedures as far as possible. Should we as ASNA at any time notice a possible Covid case, we shall choose to postpone a photoshoot accordingly.

Let us help you change the way you see yourself by showing you what we see when we look at you - you cannot see yourself in this way. You do not know what your partner or others see when they look at you. After your photo shoot, you can expect images for yourself consistent with what we show. You decide the genre and location. We assist with what works best and take you on a value-adding journey.
Yes, you may think, I have never done this before; I am not beautiful, I am not sure if this is for me...
And, the fact is, based on our statistics over many years, that each and every person, or couple, who engaged in the step of revisiting their 'selves' inside, have simply been 'awarded' with the outcome of feeling liberated, feeling that they completed a challenge they put to themselves. That they did something they always wanted to do, but did not know where and how. Not one has felt regret for the step they took to do their photoshoot(s).
People do not pose nude to get sexual - being sexual has absolutely nothing to do with the journey. It is also not only broken or depressed people who do photoshoots of themselves in the nude. It is normal people. People who know the value of striving to self acceptance in all facets of beingness, of being happy with who they are, or reminding themselves that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That society conditions us that a slim figure is beauty and that any other body type is to be judged, is what causes insecurities.
An interesting fact: Our nude photoshoots, whether fine art, boudoir, artistic, or simply in nature, have ranged in the age group of mostly between 48 to 61! Nobody looks his or her perfect self as they did so many years ago. We were virtually booked for a couple shoot of a couple where both people are in their eighties! Unfortunately, the elderly lady fell sick and the couple were forced to move to a place nearer family support systems.
These models, as we refer to our clients, walk proud and with increased self-esteem. Sometimes their partners have been surprised at the very special gifts they received in the form of photographs from their other half, and so we all have our own reasons why we find value in booking a private and safe photoshoot.
